Since everyone else was agreeing with the contacting Xander method, Buffy had no choice but to go with it. Of course she would've rathered to just have him back, but this was the next best thing. She heard what Dawn said about his parents and she couldn't believe how she'd forgotten about them. "Oh God..." She uttered, placing a hand to her face. Then, after a moment's thought, she added, "Maybe we won't need to tell them... if this works. We'll wait until we know for sure until we tell them, because if we do tell them and decide to bring him back, that would look so weird for normal people like them."
She listened silently as Tara spoke to her. After the witch had finished, Buffy nodded. "You're right to say that... thank you."
Buffy stared into space for a moment, then looked at them all individually. "I'll do it." She said quietly yet determined. Noticing that Dawn had a strange look on her face, she raised an eyebrow at her sister. "Are you okay, Dawn?"

Blinking Willow nodded then sighed quietly "I'll...just get together what we need for contacting him..." Turning, she strode over to the staircase leading into the top of the shop. There, she started to gather what they would need, fighting back tears that threatened to make her break down. She had to keep it together to do this...she had to know if Xander... Cutting off her thought process there, she swallowed and looked over the railing at the people below finding that she couldn't finish her thoughts of Xander being dead.
She had known Xander since they were kids and this didn't seem real to her. Biting her lip, she again fought the tears that were pushing at her eyes to be released. Putting the ingedients and different books into a sack, she slung it criss-cross over her shoulder and chest and climbed down the ladder in time to hear Buffy speaking to Dawn. Seeing the look on Dawn's face, she furrowed her eyebrows as she set the books and things on a table "Dawnie? Hun...you ok?"

Blinking and hearing her sister and Willow, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows, pulling her attention from where she thought she heard somebody talking "W...what? Y...yeah...I guess.." Watching as Willow climbed the ladder to get the books and things they would need, her attention drifted back to where she thought she heard the voices.
Walking over to where Xander's spectral shape was, she furrowed her eyebrows. She wasn't able to see anything but she knew that she felt the cold spot earlier. Opening her eyes, she looked back at Buffy "I...it's cold over here...it's strange too..I thought I heard something earlier...but I'm not sure about it..."
((Was thinking that maybe Dawn could actually 'hear' the voices as well since she was the key and able to open portals...what do ya'll think?))

(( Good thinking, Dawn! ))
Tara gave Buffy a small smile. She had been right... Buffy wanted to be the one to contact Xander and Tara believed it was the best choice. She then watched slightly anxiously as Willow disappeared to get what was needed for the spell.
But her attention was diverted to Dawn and her eyes widened a little. She'd heard of people naturally being able to sense or actually see ghosts and spirits and it seemed Dawn was one who could both hear and sense one... and that one could indeed be Xander. "What exactly did y-you hear?" Tara asked her softly. "Like, was it a voice or...?"
She then remembered Willow and placed a hand on her arm. "Willow, I think the sooner we do this... the b-better." If Dawn was hearing Xander, it could mean he needed them more than they realised...

"Hello?" Xander yelled out still continuing to get the attention of the mysterious voice that haunted his afterlife.
He gave up after a while of no response and listened to what the others were discussing. He overheard that they weren't going to tell Xander's parents about his death which he agreed was a good decision, and that Buffy was the one that was going to contact him, which he thought would give him the chance to tell her something he's desperately wanted to confess since the first day they met.
The most interesting thing is the possibility that Dawn could hear him.
He approached Dawn bent down to her level and whispered into her ear, "Please Dawn, help me. I don't have much time." He straightened up and waited for her reaction.

Blinking and looking up at Tara, Dawn bit her lip then looked around "Yeah...I thought I heard a voice that sounded like Xander's...but I'm not sure...then I heard someone say 'You're not alone...something about a foe and ally'...but that was it.." Looking back to the spot where she had felt the coldness, she furrowed her eyebrows.
Touching her forhead, she shook her head again and held up a hand "I...it's happening again...it's Xander...." Narrowing her eyes in concentration, she swallowed and repeated him "Help me...I don't have much time..." Looking at Tara and Willow then Buffy, she frowned "He wants us to help him..."
