Everything happened fast and Lorne hesitated when the demons started attacking. One of them was killed and the other was becoming a meal for another vampire. Not knowing who these people were, Lorne's hesitation lasted a little longer than expected.
"Uh..." he started, and saw two more demons approaching as back up. Thats when he finally figured out that he should probably do something. Lorne took a deep breath and began.
"Ohhhhh hooooooooohhhh OoooooHhhhhhhhhhhh....!" He starting singing a run and the demons cowered. "Oooohhhhh baby, baabbbyyy....I did you wrooong...my heart went out to plaaay...but in the gaaame Iiii lost you...what a price to paaaay...ohhh I'm cryiiiin'...oooooooOOOO....!"
As he sung, the demon getting bit knocked the vampire of off him and took off in a sprint, crying out and covering his ears. The others did the same. Lorne stopped singing. "Nothing like a bit of soul to stop impending doom." He stepped forward, and offered a hand to Angel to help him up.
"Don't mind me," He laughed a bit nervously to the group of people he's never seen in his life. "Just your friendly neighborhood empath demon." He waved a bit with his other hand. "The name's Lorne."

Rain watched the rest of the fight from the ground, all strength drained out of her. While Ally dealt the demon that had attacked her while Buffy went after the demon facing off with Angel. Rain watched as the Slayer was thrown to the ground like she was nothing more than a rag doll. ‘Where is her strength?’ she thought panicked. Without her Chosen One power Buffy was in serious trouble.
Rain made to get up but she was barely able to life herself a foot off the ground before her arms collapsed beneath her. “Crap,” she whispered. Suddenly she noticed the man that had been with Buffy. He warned her that she had no powers. He yanked the ax out of the tree and charged towards Angel’s demon. With one swing he buried the ax head deep into the demons back, killing it instantly. Then he went to Buffy and helped her up, obviously concerned for her well-being.
Two more demons were approaching when Lorne’s voice suddenly rang out. She wanted to ask, “Why the hell are you singing?” but before she could the demons ran away covering their ears with their hands.
Rain wanted to laugh but instead she rolled onto her back, hoping to alleviate the pressure on her lungs that had manifested at the same time as the piercing headache. As she lay there, looking up at the trees and the sky with two suns, she wondered what those images had been. There had been hundreds of them, most of which she couldn’t remember. She didn’t know what they were, but she had the faintest idea forming in the back of her mind. ‘Maybe…maybe they were memories.’

Having been found on the cold concrete by what appeared to be a cave, Willow was taken to a camp by some renegades where she woke up surprised. Looking around, she furrowed her eyebrows and sat up, finding herself in a tent-like structure, the blanket that was covering her falling down her shoulders. Furrowing her eyebrows, she swung her legs out over the cot that she was lying on and looked around. Seeing her ankle bandaged up she furrowed her eyebrows again then looked up as another woman entered the tent.
"Ah...so the young lady is awake I see...welcome Stranger." Kneeling down, she started turning Willow's ankle, testing the bandages tightened around it and holding it firm "You had some injuries when we found you that we managed to patch up..." Looking up at Willow, she smiled softly "My name is Keelah...my father is outside...he's the one that found you.."
Blinking and watching the young woman curiously, Willow looked around "Not that I don't appreciate it...I do...but where am I?"
Smiling, Keelah nodded "You are not from here...are you? Not to worry...we've had...visitiors...like yourself...but not for much time...you are in Pylea..."
Furrowing her eyebrows, Willow shook her head then remembered reading about Pylea in the book then frowned "No..I'm not from here...I'm from Sunnydale...I guess Pylea is another dimension separate from Earth..." Shrugging, she remembered what she read about wanting to be here then frowned "I wasn't quite expecting this when I read the book..."
Watching her puzzledly, Keelah frowned "Books? You're allowed to have books where you come from? We're not supposed to have them here...I suppose it's because of what we are..." Looking down bitterly, she shrugged "That is why my father fights the demons with our men. The demons here control Pylea...and they have enslaved us...calling us Cows..." Looking up, she furrowed her eyebrows "You are from this...Earth? My father came from a realm called Earth long ago...Long before I was born...he speaks of it every now and again..." Motioning to Willow, she helped her stand and hobble out of the tent then motioned to the man sitting around a fire talking to some other men "That's my father...Veklah..."
Nodding, Willow looked at Veklah then turned hearing what sounded like shouting through a thick thicket of trees "Sounds like there's a fight going on..." Seeing the men stand and start running toward where Buffy and the others were fighting, she furrowed her eyebrows "Should we follow?"
Shaking her head, Keelah sighed "There's always fights here in Pylea...sometimes many of our people are lost...either enslaved or killed...Father doesn't allow me to join in the fighting though..." Helping Willow to sit on a log, she shrugged "They'll be back soon."
Blinking and listening to Keelah, Willow furrowed her eyebrows and sighed "If you say so.."
((Hope that's ok...I don't remember much about Pylea...I just read the posts and decided to do it like this.))

Blinking and watching what was going on, Faith shook her head "Great...no weapons...Slayer powers....what the hell are we supposed to do?" Seeing on the demons aim a blow at her head, she quickly ducked down and tripped him up "Hey?! Don't you know it's not nice to aim at a girl's head?" Sending her fist into the demon's face, she then aimed a kick at his gut only to be knocked flat to the ground "What the hell?! Ok...now I'm pissed!"

Angel took Lorne's hand and accepted his aid. "Waited long enough?" He said, feeling a bit ashamed and irritated that he didn't transform in order to help his friends. But he couldn't risk it again. He just couldn't risk it.
He looked around to make sure everyone was okay, and saw Rain still down. "Rain," He went over to here and bent down to her. "Hey, you okay?" He turned to Buffy and Faith, bemused expression on his face. "You shouldn't have come here Buffy. This place...does things to people." He shook his head. "You've lost your powers so..." he paused, mulling over his words. He sighed. "...you need to be careful. We need to find Willow and Cordelia and get out of here as fast as possible. Lorne is from this dimension. He can help us."

A face entered her line of sight. Dead white with dark eyes, crowned with spiky black hair. Angel the vampire looked down at her with a concerned expression on his face. “Hey, you ok?” he asked. Rain adjusted her position so she was leaning up against the tree and glared up at him playfully. “No, I’m not fine,” she groused though a smile tugged at the corner of her mouth. “My head is killing me and I would be dead if it weren’t for the face I’m half demon.” She wanted him to know that she was fine and in just as good a humor as she was before the demons appeared. She wondered whether or not she should tell him about the memory-vision she had of his vamped-out face looking down on her, but decided against it. It wasn’t worth mentioning, especially when she had the sneaking suspicion that she didn’t have all of the memory. Instead she surveyed Buffy’s group of friends, taking note of the damage they had acquired during the fight, which was surprising not much.

"Well I could have waited, I dunno, forever and got my green tush out of this place but I figured you wouldn't like that very much." Lorne retorted. Seeing that everyone was okay, he breathed a sigh of relief. He stepped forward in front of the group and affirmed Angel. "Yes, yes, I think that is a fabulous plan. Let's get the two ladies and scram. So being the official demon leader of this pack, let me just say this...it's not that simple, people. You have no idea what this place does to humans and..." He gestured towards Faith and Buffy. "Slayers, right?" He asked them. "Yeah, impressive. Just not gonna help you in this place."
"We got that, Lorne." Angel interjected. "What do you suppose we do about that?"
Lorne looked at Angel seriously. "Follow my lead." He looked at the rest. "This place isn't very friendly to the human variety, as you can see."
"STOP HIM!" The sound of running feet and a cry from a few men approaching. Spears were thrown in Lorne's direction and he ducked, covering his head.
"HEY!" Lorne shouted as he ran. "I said not friendly to the human variety! Can't I have a little credibility around here?!"
Another spear was thrown and Angel stepped forward, catching it with his enhanced vampiric reflexes, slamming it to the ground. "Hold it," He commanded the men. "He's a friend."
"A friend?" One of the men said, rage in his eyes, but a bit of fear in his voice. He forcefully ignored Angel's impressive catch, attributing it to skillfulness. "No demon from here is a friend. "
Angel glanced around at Lorne to check if he was okay and then back at the men. "Listen. Trust me. He's not going to hurt anyone." He paused and said. "Who are you?"

Blinking Veklah narrowed his eyes uncertainly at Lorne then motioned to the men that were following him to lower their spears then looked at Angel, "My name is Veklah..." Letting his eyes shift to Lorne then back to Angel, he shook his head "You are friends with one of them? Very odd...but we shall believe you for now."
Hearing Veklah, Keelah stepped out, supporting Willow and furrowed her eyebrows "Father...what is going on and who are these...people?" Pushing her long brown hair out of her eyes, she studied Buffy, Angel, Lorne, Rain, Faith and Xander then heard a gasp from Willow and averted her eyes to her.
Smiling Willow shook her head "These aren't strangers...these are friends of mine..." Motioning to Buffy, she smiled again "That's Buffy, Xander and Faith...and that over there is Angel and his friends..." Furrowing her eyebrows at Rain and guessing that she was a part of Angel's group, she shrugged a little "Guys, this is Keelah and this is her father, Veklah...they found me and helped me out."

Buffy watched the demon come towards her, frowning at both the fact that this might be the end for her and that she was still weak. But as she watched, the demon's expression changed and he tried to grab something behind him before collapsing. It was then Buffy glanced up and saw Xander there, then she looked back to the demon to see an axe sticking out of his body.
She gladly took Xander's offered hand and stood up, brushing herself off. "Thank you." She told him quietly, giving him a grateful look. "See, you're not useless after all." Her smile widened, remembering all the times he'd said he wasn't a Slayer, witch or demon, so he wasn't important. But the same man that had said that once had just saved her life...
Buffy then heard someone singing and she whipped her head towards the sound. "Oh, are we celebrating our victory already? You know, you usually do that... when they're all gone." She'd stopped halfway through her sentence, watching as the demon's took off, then added the last bit with surprise. "I didn't think your singing was that bad." She added, shooting Lorne a look of sympathy. After introducing himself, she gave him a smile. "Buffy." She told him, indicating to herself.
Buffy crossed her arms across her chest and regarded Angel. "I came here to get my friend back... so don't tell me I shouldn't have come." She told him coldly, more than usual because in truth, he was right... this place was too much for Buffy, but she wasn't going to admit that. But they were interrupted by more attackers and she sighed with frustration. "Can't tourists visit a place without being killed these days?!" She asked, more to Xander seeing as he was closest to her.
However, Buffy looked back to the attackers with shock, realising one of them had red hair and looked TOO familiar. "Willow!" She cried out, but not moving towards her yet. Those spears looked really sharp... But she also then noticed Willow was smiling, so she must be okay. When Willow introduced her to the attackers, Buffy gave a brief nod in acknowledgment.
Then remembering what Angel had said a few minutes ago, Buffy swung around to look back at him. "Wait a minute... did you say Cordelia is here too?" She observed him with surprise, not remembering being told that she was here and lost as well.

Once Buffy was up, Xander covered his ears at the green demon's high pitched singing. It was a useful skill in a fight, for someone that's pacifist, Xander thought.
He smiled at Buffy saying that he wasn't completely useless. "You know, your just as useful as me now, so join the club" he said with a playful smirk. A ring still ringing through his ears, which he tried to fish out by putting a finger in his ear.
"And I'm Xander" he greeted himself to Lorne after Buffy did. He was relieved that Buffy stuck up for herself after Angel told her to leave, he himself wasn't leaving without Willow, and he knew that Buffy wasn't either.
"Traveling does come with its disadvantages" he replied to Buffy's joke.
As fate would had it, Willow appeared. Although not in the matter he had expected. He was glad that Willow was okay, it was convenient that she had been found by humans, and not by the natives.
"Hi" Xander said awkwardly to the newcomers.

(Surprise ^^)
Groosalugg
Groo's boots hit the dirt in urgent steps, heading towards the crowd of pure bred humans, outside of the castle. The humans were protesting and Groo had been meeting with the currently reigning demon clan--The Sovereign--they were called. Humans were still being killed and treated unfairly, for the Dance of Revolution didn't favor on the side of human decency. The Sovereign were planning blood bath of an attack on the humans and Groo tried to convinced them to stop. However, the protesting and riots had stopped for a while when there was a disturbance in the sky. Fearing someone was in danger, Groo immediately went to see what happened.
In the crowd that gathered, he put a hand on one human's shoulder and pushed them out of the way.
"Stand aside," He said. Once he was in front of the crowd, his deep, dark blue eyes landed on the woman laying on the ground. He couldn't believe it.
"Its the princess..." One human whispered.
There was a second for Groo to register this information then immediately he bent down to her. "Dissolve this crowd," Groo told them. "Leave her be." When no one moved, Groo looked up at them. "Did you not hear? Leave us!"
The humans retreated and Groo looked at her to see if she was alright.
"Cordelia, my princess. Why have you come?"
Angel
"Heh," Angel said to Veklah's introduction. "Glad you're giving me the benefit of the doubt," He mumbled half under his breath. Placing his hands on his hips, he sighed he heavily. On the bright side, at least Willow is "safe." Now he had to explain to Buffy how he managed to loose Cordy.
Turning to her, he said, "Look, when we came here the first time...Wes made sure that we came in the portal enclosed, so that we wouldn't get separated. And since we didn't have a lot of time to wait for him, we went into the portal together...and came through without Cordy." He looked at her, his eyes sincere. "It was my fault. I didn't think things through."
He turned to the rest of them. "But we've found Willow. Maybe Cordy isn't too far from here."

From her position sitting at the base of the tree Rain watched as the human man and her companions talked, explained what they were doing in Pylea, and so forth. She didn’t particularly want to get in the middle of the discussion but she didn’t like the way Veklah had immediately assumed that, because they were demons they must be bad. As a half demon she could move within both worlds and had felt both sides’ hostility but this man’s hatred ran much deeper than just fear or disgust.
Deciding that sitting on the ground probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do while in unknown worlds she stood with a groan and leaned against the tree. Catching Lorne’s eye she raised an eyebrow in a questioning manner, silently asking him to explain why Veklah and his men were so hostile.

Blinking and watching what was going on, Faith smiled a little at the reunion but covered it up as Veklah and the others approached them. Remaining on guard, she listened to what was going on then crossed her arms and leaned against a tree raising an eyebrow "So....this is just great...now we find Willow...but we gotta stick around here more so we can find Cordelia?"
Sighing and rolling her eyes, she looked away from them. Cordelia was not her favorite person but she wasn't about to say that. Seeing Rain watching them all, Faith arched an eyebrow then grinned a little "Hey, relax..." Seeing Rain watching Veklah and his men, she furrowed her eyebrows then approached Rain slowly, not wanting to scare her off "I'm Faith. You are?"

Buffy sighed heavily, not overly keen to stay here another minute, let alone search for another lost person. "Okay, so you came through without Cordelia before... now, do you have any clue as to where she might have ended up?" Her impatience was obvious, especially since this place had striped her of her powers. She felt weak and vulnerable, something she did NOT like the feel of at all.
With Angel's sincere eyes her way, she couldn't remain angry, but she was still uneasy. After hearing Faith, it was obvious the other slayer disliked the idea more than Buffy did. "Of course we have to stick around and find her, Faith... we're not leaving anyone behind." She gave them all a determined look, then one to Angel in particular. "Where do we start, since you claim you're familiar with this place?"
She did feel a little better Willow was now back with them, so that was one weight off her shoulders. "At least you didn't mention Cordelia when Will was still gone or I would have hurt you.... powers or no powers." She quipped to Angel with a side glance.

Blinking and listening to the people around her, Willow smiled a little. She was glad to be back with Buffy and Xander but was surprised that Angel and his crew were here as well. Seeing Keelah move back toward her, she grinned a little "I'm fine Keelah...really..."
Bracing herself against a tree with her ankle still hurting she furrowed her eyebrows as she heard that Cordelia was missing as well "Cordie's here too? What's she doing here?" Shaking her head, she shrugged "Never mind..."
Blinking and seeing Willow flinch at the pain in her ankle, Keelah sighed and shook her head "You are just like many of our men here...never thinking about how much pain you are in...just thinking about other people..." Hearing her mention Cordelia, Keelah furrowed her eyebrows "Who is this...Cordelia?"
