Rain McKnight, half-demon extraordinaire, walked into the demon bar Caritas just as the proprietor, a green skinned demon named Lorne, began to chant. She’d just barely registered a strange humming in her ears when there was a blinding flash of light and the floor vanished from under her feet. Seconds later she landed on the hard ground, her legs crumpling underneath her forcing her to fall forward onto her hands and knees.
“What the bloody hell?” she cried in a thick Irish accent. All around her there were trees too big to be anywhere in L.A. and the ground was bestrewn with fallen leaves and twigs.
To Rain's eyes the lighting of this place was too bright and as she looked up she found out why. Twin suns relentlessly beat down on her from the sky, causing her to look away quikly and rub her eyes to rid the spots from her vision. Where am I? she wondered.

(was waiting for Cordy here but...meh lol)
After going through the portal, Angel felt the blazing sun (s) beating down upon him and flinched, grabbing his jacket and starting to cover himself with it. His reflexes got the best of him, however he quickly realized from the last time that he was free from becoming the flaming variety. He slowly let go of his jacket and gazed around. Lorne was there for sure...but Cordy?
He gazed at Lorne seriously. "Where's Cordy?"
He then realized the most important thing Wesley said the first trip to Pylea. There was no guarantee they would arrive at Pylea in together unless they were inclosed in four barriers upon entering the portal.
"Great. Just great. Now we have to look for Cordelia too." He put his hands on his hips and shook his head. He then took a double take when he noticed someone else with them. A woman...no, a demon. He glanced at Lorne, a thoughtful expression on his face. Something about her was familiar.
"I'm just going to take a wild guess and say...not your cousin?" Angel started to take deliberate but cautious steps towards her. "Hey..." He started. "Do I..." When he got a look at her face, his voice trailed off. He did know her.

Rain whipped around and stumbled back. Skittish as she was around others in general, being in this new place and having people sneak up on her was really doing a number on her nerves. “Who are you?” she demanded in that same Irish accent. “Where am I?” Funny, Rain had never talked in an accent before. Maybe it was reminiscent of her life before the crash? She stowed that information for later scrutiny and focused on the tall, dark, and handsome stranger staring at her.
As he took a step towards her something like recognition flared in his smoldering dark eyes. He started to ask a question but trailed off, staring at her in wide-eyed amazement. Rain took this moment of opportunity while the man seemed slightly dumbstruck to take several steps backwards. She meant to put some distance between them but instead she tripped over a fallen log. On instinct, fearing some sort of attack, Rain flashed to a slightly more demonic form. Long fangs protruded from her mouth and wolf ears sprouted on her head. Her eyes sparkled brilliant emerald and claws sprouted from her fingers. Not quite fully transformed but definitely more threatening Rain scrambled to her feet, ready for anything and keeping her sharp eyes on the man.

Ally could hear voices in the distance, they were familiar but not exactly voices that would appreciate her being around. Although then again little miss red-head willow isn't around and I bet they all wanna get out of here as much as I do. She headed into the forest, halfway up the path she realised her ankle felt lighter, pulling up her jeans she groaned, her knife was gone. "Just as well I got my teeth. She joked to herself.
"Hi guys, what the hell happened?" She asked as she found them in the clearing. "And yes I know you probably don't want to see me and I don't know how much help I'll be when it turns light, but maybe I can help?"

Willow had landed with a thump, a big thump, her ankle was refusing towork. She'd tried to get up five times already and had collapsed back down every time, tears in her eyes a mixture of frustration, tiredness, anger and scared. "I'm never going to get home"She thought curling up in a ball on the hard concrete floor she'd landed on. It was night time and she was getting cold but couldn't move anywhere warmer.

Angel furrowed his low brow when the woman clearly started to fear him, backing away as he stepped forward. Was she an escaped human 'slave' from this dimension? Where did he see her before? "Hey, I won't hurt you..." He took more urgent steps toward her when she fell but stopped when she turned into her demon form. He didn't stop because he was startled by her demon form. He stopped because he remembered...killing her.
He blinked. No, that had to be a mistake. He would have to figure it out later. They didn't have much time to play catch up.
"Look..." He said cautiously, still approaching, trying not to seem like a threat. "My name is Angel...this is my friend Lorne. You came here through a portal. We all did. It's okay. We're all a bit turned around..." He paused taking another look at her demonic form, still seeing memories of her death. He swallowed uneasily. "What's your name?"

Lorne dusted off his bright red suit when they landed into his home dimension. He looked around, clearly not pleased. It was just the way he left it. Home sweet hell. Why did he come back anyways?
Oh Willow. Thats right. Need to keep reminding himself that.
And Cordy...apparently she's also on that list of people to save...again.
He turned to Angel, who was now panicked over Cordy. "Well I don't know Angel. Maybe she got whisked away by demon Fabio again. Ever thought of that?" Before he continued his bitter rant about how much he did not want to be here, he noticed a woman that apparently Angel recognized. He tried to see if she had visited Caritas before but he couldn't say he saw her before. After Angel's attempt at introductions, Lorne stepped forward:
"Yeah, Angel here wouldn't hurt you or a puppy for that matter. In fact, he mopes around like a wounded one himself." He laughed a bit and nudged Angel in the arm light heartedly. Angel just looked at him in disapproval and Lorne adjusted his collar, cringing. "Yeeesh. Tough crowd."

Until he spoke Rain had taken no notice of the man’s companion, a green-skinned demon named Lorne who owned her favorite bar in L.A. If Lorne was vouching for this man he couldn’t be all bad…but inside her instincts were screaming for her to run. Something about him wasn’t right, it was like…he wasn’t human. Rain sniffed the wind—the man smelled of dirt and something she couldn’t identify.
Rain looked at Lorne, then back at the dark man. “My name’s Rain,” she said slowly. “Are you sure I can trust him?” It really scared her how her instincts were shrieking for her to run. At the comment about this tall, dark and handsome man brooding like a wounded puppy she couldn’t stop the giggle that escaped her lips.

A laugh. Well thats something Lorne was glad to hear after seeing her go all canine. Rain. Ah, now he remembered. She wandered in the bar from time to time but he never got a chance to talk with her. Judging from the sense that they all really had no way out of this place, everyone will have a lot of catching up to do.
Lorne piped up. "Sure as rain, sweetcakes, pun intended." Lorne slapped a hand on Angel's back and Angel just gazed back at him with that same disapproving glare.
"See, we came all the way out here to find one of Angel's friends. She got sucked in this portal much like you did. And noble Angel here had no problem coercing me into coming to this hellhole. And now we lost his other friend that came with us. So this little trip and this whole idea hasn't been very peachy so far, as you can see. " He told Rain with the fakest smile and tone he could give, effectively showing how much he detested being there.

Angel promptly turned to Lorne. "Whoa, wait a second. Coerced?" He asked, exasperated. He looked back at Rain and then at Lorne, appalled. "I never--" He looked back at Rain, with his hands at his waist, moving the tail of his jacket behind him a bit more.
"Look. There was no coercing involved. I don't coerce." He sighed and relaxed a bit, putting a hand to his forehead and rubbing it, trying to let the name settle in his mind. Rain. If he killed her, he would have remembered.
But Rain wasn't ringing any bells. I guess that was a good thing.
Or maybe it wasn't.
Lorne smacked his lips. "Whatever, Angel. You coerce and you know it. Now because of it I have the pleasure of having another family reunion." He leaned towards Rain a bit with a smirk. "And if you think family reunions back in the earthrealms are scary. At least they have music. The ones here...a more suitable term for them would be 'torture devices'. "
Angel sighed heavily. "Look, I'm sorry things didn't go exactly as planned. We'll find Willow and Cordelia and we will get home as soon as possible. You're not the only one here not liking the idea of coming for an extended stay." He turned to Rain, still struck by the memory, gazing upon her with a gleam of worry in his dark eyes.
"If you come with us, we'll try to get you out of here, okay?" He told her.

Rain giggled even more at the green-skinned demon’s wordplay with her name. She like him, she liked so few people but he happened to be one of them. Slowly she let her appearance go back to being slightly more human, though she kept her canines and nails sharper than usual as well as the wolf ears atop her head. The black fur that had sprouted to cover her exposed arms receded and her eyes flashed back to their usual blue-green.
As Lorne explained the two men’s reason for coming to this strange world—and how she’d been brought along too. At Angel’s interruptions she giggled weakly. Then he mentioned the difference between family reunions in their own world and this one. She smiled at the comparison but then frowned. “Are family reunions really that big of a pain—on Earth, I mean? I’ve probably been to one, I just don’t remember.” At Lorne’s questioning glance Rain explained, “I have amnesia—had since a car crash couple months ago. I don’t remember anything from before.”
Rain looked up at the other man and said, “You asked if you know me, earlier. I think you do—I’m not sure. Maybe my name wasn’t Rain?” She looked at him hopefully, desperately wanting answers.

Cordelia's eyes opened with a snap after she'd had them shut throughout the journey through the portal. When she looked around, a little shiver of fear ran up her spine. She remembered how she'd been a slave here and was called a 'cow', not the best memories in her lifetime.
Glancing around, she found herself again in the town-like environment, but luckily, she'd landed behind a bunch of hay bales. So, she was hidden, which Cordelia wasn't complaining about. However, she did notice Angel, Lorne, Buffy, Willow or anyone else she knew wasn't in sight.
"Great! Why didn't Angel-the-ol'-wise-one think of the joining spell?" She mumbled to herself, peering out behind the hay bales.

((ok just seeing if i have things correct.....Buffy, Faith, Xander and now Alley are together somewhere....Rain, Lorne and Angel are together and willow and Cordy are by themsleves?))
Faith jumped again slightly when Alley popped up beside them. "Shit...what is up with my slayer powers?" Faith said, she looked at Buffy. "Are your spidey senses messed up?"
Faith then looked at Alley "How the hell did you get here?" Faith looked around to see if anybody else was around. "Well I guess since we are all here, we should start looking for Willow"

Buffy glanced to Faith when she yelled out and a moment later, she realised why. She also didn't sense the vampire coming... this place was starting to freak her out... no weapons or Slayer power meant bad news.
"Yeah, I seemed to be all whacked out too. It must happen when we go through the portal... goodbye powers and weapons." Buffy looked to Ally and smiled. "The more help the better... the sooner we find Will, the quicker we can ditch this place."

Ally could tell Buffy was going to be more welcoming than Faith but she still stepped closer to both of the Slayerettes and Xander, "So where exactly are we?" She addressed everyone in general but was looking around her, she hated not having her bearings and feeling lost, it was an alien feeling to her that she didn't like.
