A tall six and half foot tall male just had strolled into the nice little club in this town he was sent to by the Order, about strange activity going on here. Not fully knowing if it is related to the breed, or something entirely different just like the last mission that Lucan had sent him on a few years back. He walks into the Bronze to see if there is anything going on here besides a few young adults and teens partying. He is dressed all in black, with a long leather trench coat that hides many dangerous items that he is carrying on him. Once he had entered the Bronze he goes up onto the balcony where he can look down to watch everyone and watch for unusual things. This place is very different from the Boston area where the Order’s head quarters is, on the other side of the United States, there he had been dealing with rouge brethren of his kind. However, in Sunnydale, California he has yet to run into his kind.
He watches everything that is going on with his deep emerald eyes and sighs slightly in boredom while he runs his fingers though his dark long, tawny dark dusty blond hair. At this very moment all he had seen was human after human in this place. Along with maybe a witch or two, but he continues his steady gaze and watches all that happening and wonder what Gideon and Lucan had sent him to find out. Also with the gift he was born with, he is also doing his best to avoid as much physical contact as he can possibly from those close to him. He hates having feelings of his own, besides his cold killer side of him or that the way he always preferred to look like. Most of all he hates it when he touches another being and receives all the feelings that they are feeling right then and there.

(I saw that noone's responded to this thread...so I decided to hehe)
Entering the Bronze, Dawn sighed looking down at the cell phone in her hands and going through her text messages. There they were...messages from her sister and Willow asking where she was. Sighing and dialing her sister's number, Dawn shook her head as she got the voicemail. What else was new? Thinking that Buffy would call Willow and tell her where Dawn was, she spoke into the phone "Buffy...it's Dawn. Sorry to make you worry...if you're worried at all...you might just be too busy with the vamps. Who knows? I'm at the Bronze and I should be home in a couple hours. Don't worry...I'm fine."
Hanging up the phone, she looked around at the teens and adults dancing and smiled a little, hanging her coat on the back of a chair and making sure the money she had was secured in her jeans pocket along with her cell phone. Walking to the bar and ordering a soda, she smiled and leaned against the bar then looked up at the balcony before going up the stairs to it.
She knew that Spike was usually lurking around up there and she wondered if she would see him. Instead she saw a person she didn't know standing and looking down at the dancers. Looking at Tegan, she smiled a little but remained on the other end of the balcony, looking down at the dancers thinking to hide out up there just in case her sister showed up all pissed and everything. At least if Buffy showed up and searched the club first, Dawn could easily escape before Buffy thought to look up at the balcony.
Looking back to Tegan she smiled again "Hi. You must be new here...I don't think I've ever seen you here before."

He looks down at the young teenage girl by him and then he goes back to his watch staying quiet for a bit longer. “I am not from here, I am just stopping bay on my travels around California before I head back east.” He didn’t say much more, though when he had talked he had an unusual accent, it seem Scottish but at the same time much older than that.
He stood in silence trying to ignore Dawn hoping she won’t bother him much more since he was still trying to figure out what was the whole ordeal that his team had sent him here for. He walks away from her to sit down at one of the tall tables with a bar stool and crosses his arms over his chest. As he sat down, there was just a small reflection of light, off of the metal that is hidden under his trench and his sleeves ride up his arms a little. Showing off strange markings on his arms that look like tattoos but the color of the ink is only a few shades darker then his skin tone.
When a waitress comes to take his order, he sends her off and doesn’t order anything. While he continues his study for the people on the dance floor below, watching everyone come and go, and studies the new people. At least the ones that had just walked in to join the growing crowd. After about ten minutes of doing just that, the waitress comes back again trying to get him to order. However, he turns to her and tells her to give everyone a free drink on him, and then hands her a couple of folded bills. He did that to keep her busy and leave him alone, since he wasn’t interested in their type of drinks or food.

Watching him for a moment as his accent seemed Scottish...there was something different about it. "Ah...okay..." Watching him turn to leave after several more minutes, Dawn rolled her eyes "Whatever..." After a few more minutes where she was, she made her way down to the dance floor and joined the crowd of dancers.
She had indeed grown up into a young teenager...but she was a young woman also. Turning and smiling as she moved around the dancers, Dawn moved her body to the beat of the music remembering some of the steps she had picked up from Faith. If Buffy had seen the way she was moving...well, she would probably be locked in her room for a good long time.
Feeling a hand on her back, Dawn turned her head and smiled a little seeing a boy about her age dancing with her. Leaning into his embrace, she saw a flash of his mouth and arched an eyebrow. She should've known...a vampire. Smiling a little again flirtatiously, she touched her mouth with a finger and winked then walked calmly toward the back of the club remembering where the entrance into the alley was.
Looking around to make sure she was being followed by the vampire, she pretended to look in her purse for something as she stepped into the alleyway. Hearing the footsteps behind her, Dawn turned and felt the vampire try to grip her neck from behind. Quickly spinning out of his grip and remembering what she had learned from Buffy, she arched an eyebrow.
"Not really big on dates are you? Ah well..." Kicking the vampire in the chest and sending him backwards, she thrust the stake in her hand into his chest. Turning around and slipping the stake back into her purse as he turned to dust, she sighed. She knew that if her sister knew what she was doing, Dawn would hear no end to it. Letting her guard down, she ran her fingers through her hair as she kept her back to the entrance to the club.

While Dawn was busy dusting a vampire, a tall dark figure is outside on the other side of the dumpster in the alleyway she wouldn’t of seen him if he hadn’t been so tall. But, as soon as she noticed the figure, he stands up tall and always away from what he was doing. As the figure walks around the corner of the Bronze to head off to a side street where people park when the parking lot is packed tightly. She sees another figure walk away from behind the dumpster and the way he was stumbling over his own feet he seemed really drunk or in an odd yet blissful state. While the mortal followed the tall dark figure, he was calling out to the figure to come back again.
When the tall dark figure walked under one of the streetlights before disappearing from Dawns sight, she got a glimpse of his dark blood hair, and that dark trench coat. It was the male she had gone to talk to in the club, but had seemed brushed off by, though the odd thing was that he was in the bar when she walked out to dust a vampire. In which only toke matters of minutes, and where he came from, he would of came out of the same back door she did but somehow without her even noticing him or the human male that was after him for some reason.

Blinking and seeing some movement out of the corner of her eye, Dawn turned to look at the dumpster she was beside. Seeing a tall dark figure walking out of the alleyway, she furrowed her eyebrows. That wasn't so strange...she had seen that happen a lot of time. Watching another figure stand up, she saw that he was drunk and watched as he followed the figure out of the down the sidewalk. That was odd...besides being drunk...he seemed...blissful?
Recognizing the effects, she turned and quickly followed them out of the alleyway and down the sidewalk. Seeing the figure walk under one of the streetlights, she recognized him from the Bronze. He was the tall guy she saw up in the balcony area. Something wasn't right here. She left him back in the bar...and he was suddenly where she was in a matter of minutes?
Narrowing her eyes, she clutched her purse, and slung the shoulder strap across to her other shoulder so the strap lay horizontally over her chest. It was so much easier to move fast that way. Speeding her steps down the sidewalk, she looked around keeping her eyes open. He had to be around here somewhere and she wasn't going to stop until she found him.

When she rounded the corner she saw the guy give up and go back into the Bronze while across the street almost hidden in the darkness is Tegan leaning against a large SUV. He is chatting away on a cell phone to someone. The way he was sitting back and talking on the phone he looked like a typical human, tied into a deep conversation. He was looking around every once in a while as he chatted away with Gideon, he sighs heavily. “Okay Gid, I’ll finish up here and if nothing new comes up I head to the airport, by tomorrow, then.”
He looked around again for a little bit as he hung up his cell and stuck it in his coat pocket. He turns to open the driver door to his SUV, but he halts when he heard a scream nearby, then rushes over the hood of his vehicle with the faster than normal human speed. He suddenly halts again, stopped in a dumb founded moment, not seeing a demon ever before in life. However, instinct kicked in again and he pulls out a gun and shots the demon in the head. Luckily, for his first encounter with one, it didn’t have a natural defense to protect it from a bullet and it drops dead.
He walks over to the petrified human, just to check and see if she was okay. Since she didn’t have any wounds, he places his hand on her head. “You’ll be okay; you shall forget this night and return home.” When he lifts his hand from her head, he helps her up and sends her off to her home. Once she was gone, he heads back to the thing he killed. He shot it in time before he leapt up to attack the young woman. He lightly kicks it to make sure it was dead. “What the…” he mumbled to himself, since he had no idea what it was. If Buffy were here, she would know it was a hellhound, as he continues to look it over; he pulls out a digital camera and takes snap shots of it.

Blinking and seeing Tegan against the SUV, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows. He seemed normal enough...but still, something was telling her, there was something wrong with this picture. Continuing to watch him from where she was hidden around the corner of the building, she frowned a little. This was confusing. She knew she should be getting Buffy's help, but if Buffy knew that she was out here on her own, she would be getting a royal butt-chewing.
Hearing the scream, Dawn turned and started running in the direction where she heard it then stopped, seeing the man...with a gun? How did he get there so fast? Keeping her distance as she watched from the shadows, him putting his hand on the girl's head and listening to what he was saying, she tilted her head. He had mind-wiping capabilities? What was this guy?
Seeing him turn and kick the hellhound, Dawn sighed and stepped from the shadows "Clearly there's something up with you..." Watching him snapping pictures, she shook her head. Obviously he was new to the town. "That's a hellhound you just killed...you have a good shot."
Striding toward him, she pulled the stake out of her purse slowly. If this guy was a vampire and he was going to attack her because she knew what he was, she was going to be ready, no matter if Buffy showed up on the scene or not. She would just take the butt-chewing gracefully.
Twirling the stake in her hand, she raised an eyebrow "Now, my question is...who are you? And what was that that you did to the girl just now? The Jedi-mind trick...that's what I'm talking about."
Clearly the teenage girl he brushed off in the Bronze was no ordinary teenage girl. True, she may not have been a slayer, but she was trained by one and that showed through her attitude. "Name's Dawn...and you are?"

He looked up at the Teen he had brushed off and toke one more snap of the dead hound, when he looked at her she saw a bit of a sparkle of gold in his greens eyes. Then he blinked, the gold disappeared, and he stashed the digital camera back into his pocket as well as put his gun away. When he opened up his coat Dawn got a glimpse of other weapons he had on him. A long blade attached to his left thigh and a dagger or two at his ankle. He seemed ready for any kind of battle thrown his way whether it was an old fashion one or those that happen today with guns.
He closes his coat, crosses his arms over his chest, and watches her, as he doesn’t move from where he was standing. “Hellhound you say…” He keeps his eyes on her and raises an eyebrow at her. “Well you seem to already have that guessed for the most part.” He said as he nods to the stake in her hands, while he keeps his arms crossed and stands before like a warrior would. Then he chuckles at the question about his power. “All my brethren have that ability, it is just a mine wipe to make them forget us or something that terrified them such as that young girl moments ago. Along with a way to send them to sleep or a direction home then sleep.”
He glances down at the dead hound. “Where shall I take this dead thing and bury or toss in deep water to never be seen again?” Then he looks back up at her again and frowns at her about the stake still in her hand. “You can put that away, I don’t intend on attacking you, and I am Tegan.” He moves a little closer to the hound and pushes it over on its back. “The ugly beasts have changed since the last I have seen them…” He mutters a little to himself, almost too lowly that Dawn could have missed what he said.
He looked at her again since he was still waiting for her answer on where he should take the dead hellhound. As well as wondering if she is going to put away the stake like he said she could, he had no intentions of attacking her, he had already feed and didn’t need blood again for about a week tops.

Blinking and arching an eyebrow, Dawn slipped the stake into her purse remaining tense and ready for anything. She might've not been the slayer per se, but she was trained by one...THE one actually. And she was taught to not be a fool and let her guard down. "Wow...you have the ability to erase memories...never seen a vampire do that before.."
Looking down at the hellhound, she pursed her lips then crossed her arms over her chest "I'd say just burn it...if we bury it something can dig it up again...and if we toss it into any water around here, it can just wash up on the shore...no matter how deep the water is."
Looking back at Tegan, she furrowed her eyebrows "And when was the last time you've seen a hellhound before?" Leaning on the wall of the building behind her, she studied him then smirked a little waiting for his answer.

He looks at Dawn when she said she never seen a vampire with his gift before and cocks a brow at her. That statement in itself confused him since he knew all his kind had that one in the same gift to erase memories if so needed to be, of himself or something horrible, as of what just happened tonight. “That’s unusual… how many have you met besides me tonight.” He shrugs and turned to head to the SUV to get something to wrap the hellhound in and take it somewhere out of public eye if he was going to burn it.
He wasn’t away to long, so Dawn didn’t have to follow him, even if she started to, as he is now carrying a tarp in his arms. “The last time I seen one of these nasty mongrels was… well you would consider it Medieval times.” He throws the tarp down on the ground and rolls the dead hound on it with a push of his foot. Once it was on the trap, he gets down on his knees so that he can roll it up so he can take it back to his car.
When he had finished rolling up the hound, he stood up and looked at Dawn. “Though you do remind me of a female I had met here a few years back. I don’t suppose you are any relation to a red headed girl, which you seem to have the know all about this place and what you believe you know of vampires.” He raises a brow at her again and then shrugs while he leans down and picks up the dead hound and flings it over his shoulder. Then he walks back to his SUV to place it in the back of the vehicle, so he can take it to a none public area to do as Dawn suggested and burn it. He opens the back hutch and tosses it in and then closes the door before he starts to head around to the driver side.

Blinking and watching his actions, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows. Who did he remind her of? Widening her eyes, she suddenly was reminded of Riley and the Initiative. Pursing her lips, she remembered how Riley left Buffy high and dry then came back to Sunnydale, shocking Buffy with his marriage. She could never stand Riley and even when he came back, he treated her like a kid.
Crossing her arms over her chest, she shook her head "I know vampires. I should considering who my sister is. Buffy? Maybe you've heard of her." Watching him roll the hellhound up while saying that he was from the Medieval times, she nodded then shrugged "I've met some vampires and demons from around that time..."
Hearing him speak of Willow, she nodded "Yeah, Willow. She's a wiccan and she helps my sister and me out." That was an understatement. After Buffy died, Willow became her 'legal guardian' with Tara's help. Ever since then, she considered Willow almost like a mother figure more than an older sister.
Hearing his comment about her knowledge of vampires, she raised an eyebrow "Excuse me... 'I believe I know of vampires'? Okay, I know of vampires because like I said, my sister's the slayer. She's taught me to fight them." Watching him move to the driver's side of the car, she crossed her arms over her chest again "Are you sure you're not part of something called the Initiative? Because you definitely remind me of someone from that faction."

“No I never hear of this Buffy person,” He then climbs into the SUV and closes the door, but, reaches over and pushes the passenger door open so he could continue to talk to Dawn while he does his work, by connecting a wire between his cell phone and digital camera. He looks at her when she mentioned Willow.
“Then you only know fairy tales like her of vampires.” He still haves no clue that the vampires she knows and believes really exist, even though he has lived longer than any believed first recorded vampires such as Dracula and Countess Elizabeth. He turned back to his two devices and works on sending files to the head quarters. While he was sending the e-mail, he glances over at her when she mentioned the ‘Initiative’ and shrugs some. “I never heard of the ‘Initiative’, you speak of. Then again I am only here on a mission given to me from the other side of the States.”
After the e-mail gone through, his phone rang and he answered after the first ring, “Tegan here.” He waits a bit as the person on the other end rants his ear off about with questions. “Well… conformation from a human female, states that what I toke photos of, is a hell hound, if true, they have changed extremely since Lucan and I last saw them. In which if this is the case; these creatures are of either bad breeding or a really bad summoning from another human, possibly even a minion.” He lets his teammate rant his ear off again and inform the leather of the organization about the hounds. When he was asked how he ran into the hound, he ran them though the whole story and told them the two females that he encountered are safe. Once finished he hung after receiving his next order, which was the same as Dawn suggested and burn the beast.
He looked back over toward where Dawn is to see if she was still there by the tree, moved or left since it became really quite after he finished with his phone call.

Blinking and rolling her eyes, Dawn sighed in exasperation. "Oh my god...a vampire yet a disbeliever...yeah...whatever..." Muttering this to herself, she looked at where the hell hound was and narrowed her eyes. Somebody had to have conjured the thing up...but who? It was just plain unusual for them to show up in Sunnydale.
Looking back at Tegan, she arched an eyebrow "The Initiative was a group of college students who were responsible for rounding up dangerous demons and basically neutering them." Seeing him answer the phone, she shook her head and turned her back to the SUV, pulling out her own cell phone.
Dialing the number Buffy gave her, she spoke into the phone, leaving a message for her sister "Buffy, it's Dawn. I know you told me to stay in tonight but I was bored. Don't worry, got all my homework done. Anyway, I'm about a block away from the Bronze. Get here as soon as you can...there's a guy here by name of Tegan...odd guy. I think he's a vampire but he doesn't appear to believe in them. Oh yeah...he killed a hell hound...bye!"
Smirking a little, she hung up the phone, knowing that the little message at the end of the call would irritate her sister to no end. Turning back to the SUV, she tilted her head "So, burn the hell hound or what?"
