Blinking and listening to Kage, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows listening to him. Teach them something different? Hearing the kids murmur around her, she smiled at them and nodded then looked back at Kage.
Seeing him cross his arms over his chest as he looked over the class some, she listened to him say that he could go back to whas was believed to be more of peaceful times, speaking of mythical creatures. Seeing him look at her pointedly, her mouth opened some in surprise. Could he know? How could he know what she could do...or about the other creatures of the world. Closing her mouth, she looked at the other students then nodded "Tell us about them...I think we're interested."

He sits back and smiles at her and the other students. "Is there any certain ones you want to know about?" He stands straight and walks to the board to erase his name. “There are after all many different kinds, and for today I can at least go over a few.” He scratches his head some and then looks back at the class. “What seems to be the most popular mythical creatures or demons you seen one TV or in books. That would be a good starting point.”
He looks around the class and points at a girl in one of the back corners. She mentions ‘werewolves’ so he writes that on the board. Then he points at one of the guys up front and he mentions ‘nekomata’ but not so much buy its name, just calling it a cat with two tails. “I see you mentioned a Japanese demon there, the correct name for that demon is ‘Nekomata’”. He smiles and then writes that down and then points at Dawn and now waits for her question on a mythical creature or being.

Blinking and looking at Kage, still trying to figure him out, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows as he started asking about demons. Oh god...he did know...but how? Shaking her head she tried to pay attention to the class. As she was pointed to, she thought to herself that two could play this game. "There was a being I read about...actually two that kind of tie into each other..."
Folding her arms over her chest, she raised an eyebrow "The first is actually a human being...called a slayer...not really a mythical creature since we know of slayers from the various Dracula movies. The other is something called the Key...a being made into human form from the slayer's blood..."
Pushing her hair back over her shoulder, she ignored the people around her muttering, as she kept eye contact with Kage waiting to see how he would react.

“The key… hmmm… I hadn’t heard of that story since I was just a child. The key, normally belongs to a chaos god or goddess, though the key isn’t rare to be found on earth in some sort of living form to have it hidden away from the chaos god that is suppose to posses it. It is actually very common yet well hidden. However, for it being in a human form that is extremely rare, it is a five percent chance at that, and it is even rarer for it to belong to a blood bond to a slayer. The chance for that to happen is below the one percent chance of it.” He turns and writes ‘The Key’ and ‘Slayer’ on the board.
“The stories for the slayer are of a human infused with demonic strength and are always a female. Though she was made more for killing Vampires over demons, however, it isn’t uncommon for them to grow in strength to kill of demons as well.” He looks Dawn and then the class again and continues on his knowledge of the other two that was mentioned.
“There is more to the werewolves then the ‘Wolfman’ story, truly wolfman was the writer’s idea how they should look. Though a werewolf would actually look humanoid like the wolfman, however, they do have tails, large wolf head and fur that cover their whole body. Then there is another confusion of a werewolf transformation, which isn’t called a werewolf. However, many people confuse the one animal shape shifter as such.” He listens to someone ask him if the shape shifter ones are forces to shift at a full moon. Then he shakes his head some. “Technically no, though during a full moon they have a strong feeling they must shift, but, if they are old and strong enough they can ignore the need to shift and continue to hide among humans.”
He smiles softly. “Lastly we have the Nekomata. Nekomata’s would be high suggested to stay away from unless you knew the cat’s owner beforehand. Because when a cat becomes a Nekomata its power is based on its owner’s instances, such as if the owner was good to the cat before the owner died, the Nekomata is good. In which the same goes for it being evil because its owner was evil. The only true way a cat becomes a Nekomata is after its owner dies and it eats its owner’s soul. And I am talking just about your typical everyday house cat becoming a Nekomata.” After he finishes that small statement, he sits back quietly, letting everyone take in what they heard and waiting for more questions now.

Blinking and listening to Kage going on about the Slayer and the Key, Dawn raised an eyebrow. She knew all this. Because she was the Key. Not only that, her sister was the Slayer. But she wasn't about to let onto that. For now, she was going to keep an eye on Kage. There was just something about him.
Listening to his lesson about the various demons, Dawn nodded and leaned back in her seat. She had learned all this from Giles and Willow mostly with the help of the other Scoobies. Looking around as the students asked their questions, she waited for the class to end. Hearing the bell ring and watching the students leave, Dawn took her time packing her bag.
Making her way to the front of the class, Dawn made sure the door was closed and looked at Kage "Interesting lesson today..."

He smiles at the class when he finishes his explanations on the creatures, and then waits as he watches them all leave. Then he looks at Dawn after erasing all the information from the board and smiles softly at her. He knew he was going to have to try to keep a close eye on her especially after her question about ‘The Key’. He is also fascinated on why she asked about it being connected to a slayer since it only happened once before his lifetime.
He smiles again and nods his head. “Thank you Dawn, I got the idea to do it because of the girl that was sitting next to you was reading a book with werewolves in it. I also thought it is nice to give you all a break from the stories of civil wars and world wars for today while Robin tries to figure out what happened to your true Instructor.” He shrugs casually and smiles again. “Though why is it always history over wars and not something a little once in a while. Sure history is fun for the history geeks, though honestly I just think…” He was about to say ‘you humans’, but he kept himself check and didn’t. “The world and the history teachers is trying to ask everyone, have they been in these wars, or was a reincarnate from one of the wars, and if you remember what happened. Then please come up here and tell me about it, and such.” He shrugs again.
He looks at the door to see other students to wait and to come in, he waves his hand to allow them in. “However, now is time for another class, you should go to your next class unless you like to stay behind and see if I am asked any other interesting questions. Since I plan to continue this until today is over.” He smiles at her again and waits to see what she plans to do.

Blinking and listening to Kage, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows. She felt like just doing what she normally did and blurting out someting like 'Who are you really?' but contained it. "Yes, like I said...it was an...interesting...class..."
Seeing the other students and hearing the invitation to stay, Dawn smiled a little "I would love to...but I have a trig test. If you want, we can catch up after school and get to know each other better...at the coffee shop or something."

After he watches Dawn leave to her next class he smiles and waits a bit more for the next class to fill in, so that he can introduce himself and start the class studies. When it comes to the middle of the class and the bell rings for lunch. He is sitting with his class at one of the long tables he is chatting with them about what they started to talk about before the bell rang.
He was having a large conversation with one of the boys from the class, talking about the game D&D, and its dragons. The conversation goes on as if he was talking as if the dragons are truly real, actually it seemed like he was talking about them actually existing now. However, the dragons stay hidden from humans.

Having gone on to her next class, Dawn had a lot on her mind thinking about what Kage had taught them. He had seemed to know what she was talking about...almost first hand. But...how could that be. Touching her cell phone in her pocket, she thought about calling her sister or one of the other Scoobies but thought better of it and decided to do a little more investigating on her own.
When the bell rang for lunch, Dawn walked with her classmates to lunch and looked around. Her friends were sitting at a table but the table was full. Seeing Kage surrounded by some kids from his class, Dawn tilted her head then walked over to table and smile "Hope you guys don't mind if I join you..." Sitting down across from Kage, Dawn started in on her lunch listening to the conversation.

He smiles at Dawn and nods his head and then looks at the one student that had asked him about Vampires before the lunch bell rang. “Well young lady, in truth in books these days, the writer or writers have been swaying away from all truth of vampires as of lately some mixing the two different kinds of Vampires. There are the ones that everyone knows so well, the ones that once were human now dead, pale, and icy to the touch, with new strengths and skills. Along with the weakness to garlic, sun, fire, crosses, holy water, stakes and beheading. The other kind of vampire I speak of haves similar strengths, but with unique powers as well. However, they have kept themselves so secretive that it is surprising there not much of them written in the myths. Expect the fact that garlic, crosses, or holy water wont harm them. While a strike to the heart, beheading, and the sun will have close to the same effects of a death to them. They also have been confused for damiples, or other words half vampire and half human.”
He stops there in his explanation for a moment as he takes a bite of his sandwich and scratches his head in thought. When he shallows the bite of food he looks at the student again. “Oh yeah, for the undead vampires, starting with the true firsts which was Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed and Dracula. In which started all this, was actually cursed because of something they had done in their human lives beforehand. Such as the Countess wanting to bath in the virgin’s blood because she thought it was keeping her young looking. Dracula I still don’t fully comprehend why he was cursed, mostly because he was more known as a hero to his country then a evil man. Though I honestly think he was cursed because someone hated him so badly for all his well being.” Kage then shrugs lightly on that subject of Dracula. “Though I think in the end he just became what all of humanity thought he was or at least the ones he would come in contact with.” He shrugs once more and then finishes his food while the class talks among themselves now.

Listening to Kage talking to the students about vampires, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows as she thought about how he seemed to know first-hand about vampires. This was getting weird. First he knew about the Key..now he seemed to know a lot about vampires. Sighing, she raised an eyebrow and waited for lunch to end.
As the lunch ended, Dawn waited for the other students to leave then looked at Kage and sipped her juice nonchalantly. "Well...it looks like you know a lot about demons and vampires..." Looking at him, she raised an eyebrow "Almost kind of like you have...first-hand knowledge..."

He finishes off his drink and then looks at Dawn with his icy gaze and smiles softly at her when she starts to talk to him about his knowledge of these things. “And by your sober reaction to my knowledge of these things, also tell that you also know first-hand about them as well.” He chuckles some and reaches over to pat her hand. “Dawn, Vampires are all around us that is for sure.” He then pulls away to grab his tray of trash now, so he could dump it in a trash can, however before he walks away from her. He turns and looks at her again. “Whatever you believe, just know not everything you see is what it seems to be to you in your line of sight that is because this world is full of magic and mystery. Also, I think you already know this, since you did ask that intriguing question earlier today. But, you do have an unusual and very powerful aura about you Dawn. Something that doesn’t seem well… mortal that is for sure.” After he had said that he walks away to throw the trash away and head back out to the history class.

Blinking and looking at Kage, Dawn smiled a little "Yeah...you can say I do..." Cutting off there, she looked down. What was she doing? It seemed that she was about to give away trade secrets to someone she just met. Buffy would kill her if she did hat. Looking back up and watching him turn to look at her again, she listened to his comment and widened her eyes getting up and dumping her tray into the trash. Following him down the hall, she shook her head "What do you mean by power aura? And I don't seem mortal? I am.." Cutting off there, she shook her head "You and I need to have a talk after school."

He smiles kindly at her again. “Sure thing, I’ll meet you where we met first thing this morning.” Then he nods and then turns to head off to his last two classes.
Just a few minutes before the last class ends, it wasn’t far from Dawns last class, there was some kids yelling and running after something small down the hallway. Someone cried out, ‘catch the fox’, but the creature was lucky and slipped away from them when someone opened up a door that exits outside and it disappears. Litterly just disappears before everyone’s eyes when they looked outside through the open doorway. If Dawn happened to peek out of her classroom’s door way or through the window in time to see the little black fox, she probably would swear she saw at least three tails on the fox, while others around her would only see one.
After that little bit if excitement that had just happened and students either loading in cars, buses, or simplely walking home. Kage is sitting where he said he would meet Dawn after school, and as he is sitting there he is reading a book while waiting on her, almost as if he been out there a long while, waiting on her. He continues to read his book that is written in Japanese writing as he relaxes in the shade of the tree.

Blinking and seeing him just nod to her and turn to head to his last two classes, Dawn furrowed her eyebrows in thought.
Her last two classes went all right. Normal as they were just about every day. Sighing and looking at the clock, she sat tapping her pen against the desk then looked toward the doorway of the class and heard people crying out 'Catch the fox'. Rushing toward the doorway with the rest of her class, she looked out to see some kids chasing what looked like a fox rushing past the door. Wait a minute...was that...no...it couldn't be. Three tails?
Looking around and wondering if anyone had seen what she had seen, she sighed and returned to her desk waiting for school to end. As the students loaded in cars, buses and started walking home, Dawn smiled and waved to some of her classmates then made her way over to the tree where Kage was sitting. Seeing him reading a book in what appeared to be Japanese, she smiled a little "Hey...wow...some action for our last class."
Taking a seat next to him, she sighed "So...what are you reading?" Tilting her head, she knew she was beating around the bush so she said "Okay, what you said earlier about power aura...what do you mean? And why do I get the feeling that you're not just an ordinary teacher/exchange student?"
