He chuckles again. “Is that all youngling?” He looks at Alaki and then gives them both a big grin, as they can clearly see that he haves no fangs or so at the moment. “I am older then Count Dracula dear girl.”
With a blink of a eye he appeared suddenly inches away from Alaki, towering over her with his six and half feet tall stature, and then touches her chin with his icy cold finger tips to make her look up at him. He smiles softly at her. “And Las, I am sorry of I falsely accused you. But, where I had come from, the vampires love to play nasty tricks on humans. I am also sorry for upsetting you like that, but it’s a way I test vampires.”
He then stepped away from Alaki, trailing his finger softly over her cheek. As he steps over to Maze. “Ms. Maze, you are a rarity that is for sure, still unaware of how powerful your skills can be.” He doesn’t say much else then that knowing that she might not want Alaki know of it yet. He then turns and starts to walk away from them but stops and turns to look at them again. “By the way ladies, what year is this?”

Alaki felt a sense of pride that Maze was giving this moron her two-cents. A sudden feeling of loyalty sprang up in her heart hearing Maze say she believed herself to be in good hands. “Listen, Buddy,” she started but the stranger was suddenly directly in front of her, touching her face. Alaki hissed and jerked away. No one touched her face, no one. And the jerk wasn’t done. He continued talking; his condescending tone was really beginning to get to her.
He went to Maze next, saying something about her “skills” whatever that meant but Alaki didn’t hear him. Rage was growing in her heart, rage and hatred. The inner demon thirsted after the stranger’s blood and Alaki so desperately wanted to give in. But what would her new friend Maze think?
Instead of giving into her bloodlust Alaki looked at Maze and, ignoring the stranger completely, asked, “Maze, how would you like to see my crypt? I have a TV. Maybe we could watch a movie or something?” OOC: ok , just to let you know, Corlafka is really starting to get on my nerves. He's so condescending! I don't mean to be rude but I'd just thought I'd mention it.

She stared at the creature, Corflaka, as he stroked Alaki's cheek. This guy had balls. She could tell that Alaki was becoming intensely pissed. She wasn't too happy herself. Then he decided to address her and she didn't say a word back. She was thankful that he was trying to look out for her, but the way that he was treating Alaki over rode that. After a moment or so of silence she watched him turn and walk away, but before he was gone he asked them a question.
"It's 2001" she said, her eyes meeting his for a moment, "downtown is two blocks that way." She indicated to the right figuring it would be a good idea to point him in a direction to obtain sustenance or whatever he was looking to do.
When Alaki asked her if she wanted to catch a movie in her crypt a smile reappeared on her face. She turned to her new friend, "Yeah, I'd love to."
OOC: I'm assuming it's 2001 since the hellmouth exploded in 2003 and this is a couple years earlier? Idk. If I am wrong stab me with a pointy stake.

He nods some. “Thank you Ms. Maze and I know where I need to go, from here.” He nods his head in a thankful gesture before a chilly fog surrounds him. After a moment of the fog, a different creature leaps out of it in full flight, heading toward the Bronze. Its fur shinning bright white as if it was snow, with soft gleams of light blue from the scales the reflected in the moonlight. Just like that little scale still nearby Alaki’s feet. Before he had left, where he walked to before his fog toke over, had disappeared, there is a tall head stone that had a flat top on it. There was nothing on top of it when the two girls first meet and started to chat, if they saw it before hand. Now there is a glittering rose on it now. Before he had disappeared into the night sky, he looked over his shoulder at the two girls once more with his bright purple and green eyes, giving them a wolfish smile. Then he was gone in the night sky looking like a star cause of his fur and scales. If the girls decided to check it out, the head stone on bore one name ‘Corlafka’. The under the name, ‘named after his uncle.’ Lastly were the years of birth and death, ‘1590-1800’. There was also a dragon carved on the left side, and a wolf on the right side of the stone. Lastly the date’s don’t seem to match up with as new as the stone was, it looked liked it was bought just last week. (OOC: that's fine ^^ and he should leave you ladies alone, unless you run into him again. Oh and for the head stone thing, I thought it be an interesting way for them to learn his name, since they never asked, and he never got Alaki’s name. Besides that he on a search for a sibling of his and he had known about that headstone for some time. ^_^;

Alaki watched Mr. Arrogant and Pompous leave. The whole showing off and shape-shifting made her roll her eyes. What a twit. Completely ignoring the random headstone she looked at Maze. “Moron,” she said, talking about Mr. A&P. “Anyway, my crypt is this way.” She lead Maze over to her crypt not ten feet away. It was a great structure made of white marble that glowed eerily in the moonlight. The door was made of wrought iron, a cross stamped into the black metal as tall and as wide as the door itself. Ignoring the danger of being close to so holy a relic, Alaki slipped the cast-iron key dangling from a gold chain from around her neck and stuck it in the keyhole right at the crosshatch of the cross. Her skin did not burn when her hand pushed against the iron as she turned the key and pushed the door open.
“Come on in,” Alaki said cheerfully, mock-bowing her friend inside.
The mausoleum itself was large and dimly lit by the moon’s glow streaming in through the windows. Nothing but marble and dead bones sealed inside vaults in the walls was to be found. Alaki closed the door behind Maze and walked over to the far corner. In the floor was a heavy metal door. Alaki grabbed the ring handle and hefted it open. Bright, warm light streamed from the opening and Alaki smiled. “I actually live under the mausoleum,” she explained.
Suddenly Alaki jumped back, tripping over her own feet to fall on her back. A flash of silver leaped from the opening in the floor. “Excalibur!” Alaki cried exasperatedly.
The legendary sword danced about the room, flashing blindingly when the blade caught the light. It bounced in the air, circling around Maze in a silly dance, very much like a child or a puppy. Alaki picked herself up off the floor, shooting daggers at Excalibur. Her movements caught the sword’s attention and she had to dive aside to avoid being pierced by Excalibur’s blade as the sword came flying toward her, point first.
“Excalibur that’s enough!” Alaki yelled from the floor at the sword, which took on an ashamed look. Alaki got up again and let Excalibur rub its leather-wrapped gold hilt on her arm. “Yeah, yeah,” she said wryly. “I know you’re sorry, I know.” Then she looked at Maze. “Maze, meet Excalibur.”

As soon as he was gone all the tension that had been building up seemed to evaporate. She smiled at the vampire, "Yeah, what a prick." She murmured. Maze was glad they were alone once more. She was really interested in getting to know Alaki. Watching as the vampire began to saunter toward the crypt, she followed in her footsteps. Taking note of how she opened the door without being burned by the cross. It was curious, but then again she did live there. She had to have had loads of practice. So, it wasn't so surprising. Once the door was open they stepped inside. The marble was beautiful in the moonlight. Her eyes scanned the large barren room as her friend stepped forward toward the metal door.
As she opened it light pooled in from below and suddenly a sword jumped from the depths. Maze jumped slightly and tensed as it came toward her and danced about her feet before lunging at Alaki. Maze had never seen an enchanted legendary object. It was odd. Why did Alaki have excalibur? And why did it hop about like that? It was like a pet almost. A very dangerous pointy pet.
Then suddenly, as she was lost in that train of thought, she was being introduced to the sword. "Hey excalibur..." This was really strange. Then again, it was Sunnydale. There had been stranger things.
"So um, do you have the holy grail down there too?" She teased. Her thoughts trailed back to the sword, she tried to get a read on it, but received nothing. Most likely magic then, but of course sometimes not hearing anything from an object that is seemingly alive didn't mean it was magic. She could be totally wrong. Just a theory. "Maybe the original portrait of Mona Lisa that gives sassy backtalk?..." She said with a glint in her eye, "I'm kidding. Sorry. I think it's cool that excalibur lives with you."

Alaki laughed as she made her way down the roped ladder that led to the living portion of her crypt. “No,” she said, “I don’t have the Holy Grail. I’m pretty sure it would burn me if I did. And the Mona Lisa didn’t give sassy backtalk when whats-his-face painted her. She sat there as quietly as a doe. Tasted great once I got her away from that artist too.” Excalibur darted past her and slid itself into its scabbard. “Come on down,” she called to her new friend. The living part of Alaki’s crypt was spacious, dug into the earth with a dirt floor covered by a plush Persian rug. In one corner was a four poster canopy bed with a sunshine yellow comforter and royal blue sheets. In the center of the cavern was a round wooden table with five chairs. A large TV was set up across from the bed with two armchairs in front placed so that the TV was still visible from the bed. “Welcome to my home,” Alaki said to Maze, surveying the room with pride.

Maze walked over to the opening and grasped a hold of the rope ladder, descending carefully into the cavern. When she had reached the bottom she hopped off and turned around. Alaki's digs definitely looked comfy. Looking around she saw the four poster canopy bed, the TV and armchairs, the round table, and the rug. "I like it, it's cozy." She smiled. Her eyes falling back to Alaki, "Did you dig it out yourself?"

Alaki walked over and plopped herself down in one of the over-stuffed armchairs. The overhead light flickered, casting the room into shadows for a split-second. When she head Maze's question she laughed. "Me? Dig this ouit myself? Now that's a funny picture. No. No I didn't. I don't do hard labor or sweat. I left those things behind when I turned. There's actually a great realestate agent for demons that found this place for me."
Alaki leaned forward and grabbed the remote off the glass topped coffee table. She flipped the TV on and settled back. "So, what do you want to watch? I've basically got every movie ever made. Personally, I'm partial to the Disney ones. I'm not really sure why." OOC: I forget to ask, do the wacky font and color bother you? if so I'm sorry and I'll stop

There were real-estate agents for demons? That was something Maze had no idea about. She had never really learned about how the demon and vampire world functioned in-depth behind the scenes. "That's cool," she said walking over toward Alaki and sitting down in the other arm chair. Leaning back against the back of the chair she relaxed. Her eyes focusing on her when she asked what movie they should watch, "Disney is great. It's innocent and charming unlike our reality," she said with a smile,"Hmm... I haven't really watched Disney in a long time. My favorites are BedKnobs and Broomsticks, Pocahontas and RobinHood. Which ones do you like?" ooc: the font and color are fine!
