Faith neared the school. She had been followed by someone a the way here, but didnt have the chance to find out who. Faith reminded herself to check it out later.
Faith kicked open the library doors with the boots as she entered. Her hands kept a firm grip on the body slung over her shoulders. " Yo a little help........" Faith said as she gently laid Angel onto the large table.
Faith hoped that for both her and Angels case that he wasnt evil. But she wasnt entirley convinced so she hoped the scoobies worked their magic...litrally.

Willow's eyes widened with horror as she saw Faith lay Ange's body down on the table. "Faith! What in the Hellmouth did you do? Didn't you listen to us?" She'd ripped her eyes away from Angel's still form to glare at Faith, she couldn't bring herself to look at Buffy. the pain in her face would be torture, even though it wasn't her fault. "No of course you didn't you never do!" she exploded.

Buffy froze at the sight of Faith entering the library again, carrying a non moving Angel. Her eyes widened, but she couldn't get herself to speak yet. What had Faith done? And why hadn't the other Slayer listened to them?
Then her body remembered how to move and she raced at Faith, kicking the girl in the stomach, causing her to go crashing into the wall. Buffy was at Faith's throat in an instant, knowing she had been stupid to trust Faith... no-one ever changed.
"What. Did. You. Do?" Her tone was deadly and her face was blank with rage, but her eyes held the fire of that rage, now flashing in Faith's direction, waiting for an answer.

Giles was slightly taken back when Faith entered the library carrying Angel's limp body. He rushed towards them to go help, but stopped in his tracks when he remembered that Angel was a potential murderer.
"Faith, w-what happened?" He stuttered, before Faith could answer him though, Buffy had her against the wall in a fit of anger.
"Buffy!" Giles yelled, and approached them. "Buffy, we don't know if Faith did this to him." He said, grabbing her by the arm and struggling to pull Buffy off of her.
"Now let Faith explain".

Sighing, Faith shrugged "I did it, all right Giles? And sorry, just don't have the patience for waiting...if Angel is all big and bad again we have to find out now before he turns someone else." Looking at Buffy apologetically, she shrugged again "Sorry..."
Looking down at Angel, she remembered how he helped her in the past and furrowed her eyebrows, really hoping that he wasn't bad again "Um...before he wakes up...should we tie him up? Just in case...ya know...he goes all psycho-fangy on us and decide to pick one of us as the main course?"

Blinking Willow sighed and glanced at Buffy then the others "I don't know what to do...Buffy...I'll leave the decision up to you...meanwhile, I'll check the books for what to do..."
Pushing her red hair out of her face, she grabbed some books from a shelf and sat down at a table, leafing through them. She didn't want to believe Angel was bad...not again. But if what Faith said was right, then they had to be prepared.
Shaking her head, she continued leafing through the book for a truth spell before finding one that didn't require any ingredients or that much time. "Found one...if we need it, we can use it."

Hearing Faith suggest tying Angel up, Xander zipped into the office and returned with some rope. "Way ahead of you" he laughed. "It's the strongest rope the hardware store had, so lets hope it holds him" he said, moving around Angel, he picked him up under the arms and tied him to a pillar in the library.
"That should keep him" he said as he tied one more knot.
"Oh I think we're going to need the truth spell Will. Evil creatures lie" he looked over towards Buffy for her confirmation on the doing the spell or not. Deep down, Xander thought he knew what Buffy was thinking. Why would she want the spell done, she trusts Angel, loves him even. He doubted Buffy would agree.
"What do you think Buff?" He asked, still cautious of her in case she was still angry, although it looked to him as if she had recovered.

Buffy turned her angry gaze to Giles and her expression showed doubt and bewilderment over what he said. He tried to grab her away from Faith but Buffy wasn't convinced. "How could it NOT have been Faith, Giles? She was last with him... and had a reason to... didn't she, Faith?" She turned her attention back to the other Slayer.
Then Faith herself admitted it was her and Buffy half smiled, but it wasn't a kind one, not by a long shot. But then she apologized and Buffy reluctantly let Faith go but she didn't go too far away. She crossed her arms across her chest in defense, eying Faith with dislike. After hearing Faith's negative words towards Angel, she ignored her, not bothering to try and explain anymore.
Buffy's gaze then went to Willow, who told her it was up to her. That didn't help at all... her being confused and determined at the same time. "Good. That's... good." She replied to Willow after she announced she'd found something. All the time Xander tied Angel up, and to Buffy's disgust, he did it more enthusiastically than was necessary, her expression was hard and blank.
"You all know what I think, but what does that matter?" She answered Xander, not moving or changing her expression. "Just get it over with."

Groaning a bit, Angel started to wake up. His head throbbed as he looked around, mentally adjusting to his surroundings and regaining sharp preparation for what would come next. All he knew for sure was that he was attacked, he hadn't yet worked through why or by whom yet. When he looked up and saw that he was in the Sunnydale Library, he relaxed a bit but was still confused. Buffy, Xander, Giles, and Willow loomed over him.
"W-what?" He asked. "What happened?" He was quickly gaining his senses as each second went by. He saw Faith and immediately answered his own question. Faith did this, but why? Wanting to stand and get to the bottom of this, he pulled forward and found he was tied to the pillar.
He looked up at Faith again, his expression demanding, "Faith. What's going on?" He then turned to Buffy, not waiting for Faith to answer. "What did she tell you?" Angel figured Faith put Buffy up to this.

Sighing and seeing how Buffy was looking at her, Faith turned her back on the elder slayer. True, she was younger which meant she was more inexperienced than Buffy but she had to go with her gut instincts. She had heard the vampire tell her that her sire was Angel...therefore, she had to think that Angel was bad again.
"B...I know you think Angel can't go bad again...he's learned his lesson...but hello...the vampire I dusted completely admited that Angel was the fangy one that turned her." Shaking her head, she turned to Willow and nodded "We all know what she thinks...but maybe you should do that truth spell Willow..."
Hearing Angel wake up, she flinched inwardly then looked down and sighed "Sorry big guy...I had to do it...I...well...the truth is...I was fighting a she-vamp and before I dusted her, she said that you were her sire...we haveta know Angel...you evil again?"

Looking down at the back, Willow tended to be fighting with her own feelings as she listened to Buffy and the others. Sighing, she looked at Xander and shook her head "Xander...we don't know if Angel is evil...he could be good...this vampire could've been turned when he was...you know...Angelus...awhile back...but that was before we turned him back to good.."
Turning her head and hearing Buffy saying that it was good that she found the spell, she looked at Buffy apologetically and nodded "O...okay Buffy..." Furrowing her eyebrows and looking at Faith, she frowned somewhat as Faith spoke to her. She couldn't help but remember when Faith worked for the Mayor and turned all evil-slayery on them all.
Trying to push aside her feelings of the past, she looked back to Buffy and nodded "O...okay Buffy..." Hearing Angel wake up, she bit her lip then looked down at the book "Sorry Angel...we've gotta do this to make sure if you're evil or not.." Reading the spell from the book, she watched as a light emerged and shifted over Angel's body. Furrowing her eyebrows, she looked at Buffy "I think we can start asking him questions now..."

Angel narrowed his eyes at Faith's answer and said bitterly, "Alright. Ever consider the fact that you and your friends are still currently alive...a clear indication that I'm not evil?" Angel just needed to try to explain this and maybe everything would be fine. "Look guys, I'm not--"
Then Willow stepped forward with a book in her hand. The book was a signal for spells...what kind of spell, he wasn't sure, but it made him alert. "Willow, wait, what are you--" But soon enough, she started casting the spell. Right when the light hit him, Angel gasped at the sensation. A sudden internal force shift through his body and rammed right into his head in almost a second. The sensation resulted in an extreme constant rush of light-headedness, so extreme that it was like a drug never experienced by a human body before.
Angel relaxed, his back against the pillar as he looked at every one surrounding him with glazed eyes, jaw lax. He swallowed hard and said, dazed, "What are you doing to me?" He shook his head, furrowing his brow in confusion. "I-I just couldn't help it..I mean, I wanted to help but..." He looked up at Buffy almost apologetically. "I couldn't fight it, I just couldn't." He paused, suddenly looking at Buffy wide eyed a bit. "Your hair looks so bright from this angle..."

Blinking, Faith watched as Angel was hit with the spell. Looking at Buffy, she furrowed her eyebrows then sighed as Angel looked up at her then widened her eyes looking back at Angel as he said that Buffy's hair looked so bright from the angle he was in. Biting her lip, Faith knew that Angel still cared about Buffy and this just proved it.
Thinking to change the subject quickly to what their aim was, she looked apologetically back at Buffy then back to Angel. Blinking, she sighed and focused her attention back on Angel "Sorry big guy...we had to do the spell...didn't want to but we had to." Pushing her hair back from her eyes, she saw him still watching Buffy then snapped her fingers in front of his eyes "Ok, look Angel, focus now...we just gotta ask you some questions...that's all..."
Sighing and furrowing her eyebrows, she remembered her confrontation with the vampiress earlier and bit her lip. Blinking, she focused again on the task at hand "Angel...I'm not saying you're evil...but I gotta know. I was attacked by a chick earlier and she said she was sired by you. Did you sire anyone recently? And if so, who was she?"

Angel found himself entranced by Buffy for a moment until Faith snapped her fingers in front of him. He blinked rapidly before returning his attention to her. He remembered Faith, when she came to him for help, when she tried to betray him, when he tried to help her. He remembered how much he could identify with what she was going through and he remembered thinking he could only do so much. He could only do so much for her, and he could only do so much for himself.
"I can only do so much," He blurted, not really answering her question but speaking honestly about Faith and his own redemption, which was unknown to everyone else. He swallowed hard as the questions finally registered. "She...she was scared. And alone. And I thought..."
He thought he could do something. Like he always did. And she had no one. Who was going to help her? Who?
"...I thought, but couldn't. Her name was Ash...and I sired her." The words came out as if they had ran away from his lips. But the spell mad him content with that fact as he lowered is dazed eyes, remembering the act as if he had sired her all over again.
