Internal monologue
She likes the burn. It never seems to die. She sees the eternal flames licking at the edges of her wooden stake as she plunges it into an unsuspecting victim of her rage. When the flames linger and crackle, her rage comes to life. It can’t be caged. It can’t even be suppressed. It just burns.
He knows that.
And she knows he does. He felt the same, way back when. He let the flames devour him into that sweet release. He knows how it feels to kill. Knows the burning for more.
He told her as much. He tried to help her. She wouldn’t listen. She doesn’t need him. Or his help.
She feels the familiar prickling of anxiety. The night is crisp and silent. The night rests with the undead. They come with their claws digging and their teeth bared, sharp as razors.
She kills them all. Watches them dissipate into dust. Burn.
She likes it. It makes her feel powerful, invincible even.
Just as he had, way back when. Hundreds of years ago, when the mere thought of creatures of the night sent chills down the spine of any man.
And now it seemed like he had reverted back to his old self. Faith just came back from a night of slaying, doing the good girl thing. She however didn't expected to find that one of the vamps she had dusted had said that Angel had sired her. At first she thought she was bluffing but when the girl had gone into vivid detail on Angel, she had to think twice.
Faith walked into the library, not even stopping to say hello to Giles. She was here for Buffy. She looked around and went to find her. “Must be in the stack's” she said to herself.

( Seeing as we don't have a Giles at the moment, feel free to Godmod him guys, since he is needed in the library... )
Buffy scanned the bookshelves upstairs, looking for nothing in particular. It had been slow lately... not very many demons or vampires roaming around. So, she'd been using the free time to study and train. She sighed, not really even paying attention to the titles of the books anymore. What was going on? Where they hiding or planning something big?
She looked down to where Giles was, glad he wasn't demanding more training time. Sure, it was good to focus on other things and keep her mind busy, but it seemed Giles had the same idea and it was becoming a little too much. Buffy sighed and deserted the books, then descended the stairs.
Looking up, she was shocked to see Faith there. She hadn't been her a moment ago when she'd checked on Giles. "Oh, hey." Buffy smiled, trying her hardest to be polite to the new Faith, but the memories of the other Slayer still stung in her mind. "What's up?"
Buffy glanced at the doors, wondering where Xander and Willow were. Then she looked back at Faith, noticing something wasn't right with her. She frowned and waited for a reply.

Xander came walked through the library doors, holding two "First Editions of Demonolgy" that Giles had lent to Ms. Calendar before she died, and she never returned them.
"You were right, Giles. Ms Calendar did have them, she was using them to keep her table even." He handed him over the books, trying to hide a smile that had a life of its own.
Giles' mouth gaped open in shock, until he realised Xander was joking. "That's not funny, Xander" He snapped.
"It was kinda funny" Xander laughed, as he turned around and noticed Faith. His knees began to wobble. Ever since he and Faith slept together, everytime he would see her his knees would become weak.
"Hey, Faith. What are you doing here?" He asked, grabbing on to the bench for support.

Faith heard a noise coming from the top of the stairs, then saw Buffy slowly descending. Faith balled her hands into fists. Buffy so isn’t going to like this, Faith thought. Faith walked over to the table and sat down her legs dangling. “Hey B” Faith said her voice tense. She knew Buffy still was hurt about things that had occurred in the past, but today was the present and she was a different person now. And in saying that, what she was about to tell her was going to make things harder.
Faith was just about to talk when the doors opened and Xander came in, his hands encasing two books. Faith then noticed Giles, she had completely forgotten he was there. Faith quickly glanced away from Xander, she was meaning to apologies to him about kicking him out of her place that night they slept together, but that was going to have to wait.
“Listen guys I need to talk to you all” Faith said her voice slightly edgy. “And its not good news.” Faith said looking at Buffy.

Buffy kept her gaze on Faith, even when she heard the door of the library open. She knew already who it would be and it was confirmed when Xander spoke to Giles. Out of the corner of her eyes, she noticed Xander was going weak. "What's with the wobbliness, Xander?"
Faith's voice took her mind off her question to Xander, becoming more and more curious the minute. The edginess in her voice was making Buffy tense. This couldn't be good...
"Faith, just spill... what happened?" Buffy braced herself for the worst. Was it about how the vamps hadn't been showing themselves lately? Was Faith in trouble again? Whatever it was, she couldn't stand the suspense. "Come on, good news or not... we'll deal with it. But we need to know what it is first..."

Xander straightened up as Buffy commented on his "wobbliness". "What wobbliness?" He asked in defense.
Xander listened to what Faith had to say, not expecting for it to be as bad as Faith made it sound. "What is it Faith?" Xander asked, curious.
Giles came forward, also intrigued by what Faith had to say, "go ahead Faith, tell us as soon as your ready." He said as he walked into the caged area where he keeps his personal books, returning the two that Xander had got from Ms. Calendar's office to its rightful place. He took a seat next to Faith.
Xander followed Giles and took a seat too, to rest his wobbly knees.

Willow walked into the Library and smiled at her friends, although it faltered a little when she met Faith's gaze. The room had an ominous feeling about it and she knew that Faith was probably bringing bad news, "Does she ever bring good news? She thought to herself, but noting the solemn face of Faith, the uneasy faces of Buffy, Giles and Xander her smile disappeared completely. "What's up guys?" She said sitting around the old, wooden table which had been such a central part of improtant discussions or research.

Faith really didn't know how she was going to say this, or if they would just completely dismiss her and think that she was crazy or evil again. When Giles came to sit down next to her she felt a little better, like he was there to support her, ‘lets see how long that will last once I tell them’. Faith thought. Faith then saw Willow come in and twitched a little, She knew that the redhead, was not a fan of hers. And who could blame her. They were now all here.
Faith sighed ‘here goes nothing’ . “Ok I know that my judgment lately has been way of, and maybe my word is not that trustworthy , but I went out on patrol last night on the far side of town.” Faith looked down at her feet then back up. “It was wicked cold and I fought this newbie vamp. She said that Angel had Sired her..........”
Faith stopped speaking for a whole minute to let the news sink in before she started again. “Look I know...it sounds crazy...but I swear it was no hoax”.

Willow was shellshocked at Faith's words, "B....but.....But..... Angel's on our side now, he has been for years. He wouldn't!" She said, her and Angel had had their differences over the years but he'd been such a help to her recently, he's said how he regretted what he'd done. Why would he go and do that? "You sure you heard the name right Faith? Maybe she you were knocking her around so hard you didn't hear her right." She said, crossing her arms over her chest to hold herself and hide her balled up fists.

Buffy shook her head and smirked at Xander's defensiveness and when he sat down she couldn't help but laugh a little. She looked at Faith. "Oh school boys... how we love em."
Buffy turned her head at the sound of Willow's voice. "Hey, Will. Faith's got some news... it'd be nice if she'd tell us though." She gave Faith an impatient look and luckily, the other Slayer finally spoke up. Buffy could feel her smile fading at what she was telling the group. No way... it wasn't possible.
She grabbed hold of the edge of the table and leant down, suddenly feeling dizzy and sick to the stomach. Lifting her head to look Faith in the eye, Buffy spoke in a small voice. "You're wrong. You have to be..." She paused, taking a deep breath, then straightened up. "Where is she? The one that said this."
She would definitely have to have actual proof of this, as she just couldn't believe it. Angel would never sire anyone else... unless it had been Angelus. But then, Faith had said ANGEL, hadn't she? Buffy's head was spinning from this, it was too much...

Finally, a reason for Buffy to slay Angel, Xander wanted to smile but then he thought about that vampire he sired, and how tragically her life was cut short.
"No, she's not wrong. I've told you over and over again that Angel was evil, that he never changed but you never believed me. Thank you Faith, for prooving me right."
He turned his attention to Buffy, "you know what you have to do now don't you? You have to kill him, before he kills anyone else." He jumped into conculsions before even finding out this was true of not. But it didn't matter for Xander, he's always wanted a reason for Buffy to kill him, and now he has it.

Buffy whipped back around to look at Xander, shock evident on her face. Sure, she knew Xander isn't Angel's biggest fan, but to actually believe an accusation without looking into it wasn't fair, no matter who who was being accused.
"I know what you've been saying but it's still wrong. You're not even sure, Xander. In fact, I'm sure you don't even care if he COULD be innocent. Any reason to get him out is good enough, isn't that right?"
She paused, now glaring at Xander like she didn't even know him. "I don't have to do anything. What we have to do is look into this. Every vampire is against Angel because he's good now, so how can we believe what one says about him? Isn't it obvious or am I the only one here who cares about innocence?"
Buffy looked at each person in turn. Why was it that only her saw Angel's good? Her eyes turned pleading, hoping Willow would at least be with her. But before she gave Willow a chance to answer, Buffy added one more thing, "If you're all going against him, you'll have to go through me first..."

Faith closed her eyes for a minute, letting the angry and confused voices rush through her head. She knew this was going to happen. Faith didn't really blame them, Angel had been SLOWLY growing on her, but the fact that he was a vampire and she had read about his past was always in the back of her head.
Faith listened as the scoobies, argued and tried to justify Angels actions. Faith glanced at Willow, her hands were clenched. “I heard correctly” Faith said. She then glanced at Buffy, she took it the worst as expected. “Buffy look I know what I heard, and I saw what I saw” Faith was standing now. “The vamp is dust now, But she said it was Angel and described him accurately, it was kinda freaky” Faith then stared pacing. Faith heard Xander voice his opinion and shook her head. “Don't thank me” Faith said. She didn't know what was going to happen now. But if Angel was in fact Evil she couldn't stand back and watch.
Faith kept pacing around the room, while Buffy was yelling at Xander, She then heard Buffy say if they were all going against him, then they had to go through her first. Faith winced at the words. She really didn't want another reason to fight Buffy, not so soon after what had happened before. Faith then looked at Giles almost forgetting he was there, he had been quite through all of this. “Giles, what do you think?”
((im not good at Giles....someone wana rp him?))

"Buffy I don't think we have entire reason to doubt Faith's word but Xander we don't have 100% proof either, although Faith's word is probably the best we're going to get." Giles turned to Buffy, "Buffy be careful not to let emotions get in the way of things."
Willow was on Buffy's side and couldn't believe Xander was being so crass, "Xander How many times has Angel helped us slay other vampires why would he go and make more for us to deal with? It doesn't make sense!" She snapped and said, "And you can't blame emotion on me Giles, so don't!"

Xander's eyes opened wide with shock, when both Buffy and Willow yelled at him. He has never heard Willow snap at him like that. "Easy, Will" he said calmly. "I guess your right. We should blame Angel, until we have proof" he sighed.
"So, how do we find out. If Angel really did kill her. You could ask, yet he may never talk to you again" he suggested and turned to Buffy. "Or hook him up to a lie detector....Or probably even a truth spell?"
"They are the stu.....Smartest idea, I've ever heard from you Xander" Giles perked up. He walked into his office, and returned with a book. It's cover bound in brown leather. He leafed through it, before stopping at a page.
"This spell should do" he said and placed the book on the table so everyone could see, "Willow, you up to a little bit of magic? We have all the ingredients here, except for the sage. But mandrake root would work just the same."
"Sounds like a plan to me." Xander glanced over at Buffy, to see if she was willing to do it. He didn't see why she would, she already trusts Angel.
