(some slight god-modding here. I assume u'd be following me Faith)
Angel nodded, pleased with her answer. "Come on. Let's get you settled." He pushed himself of the desk he was leaning on and moved toward the stairs leading to his basement apartment. He paused before descending and turned around. "And Cordy? Find out where Wes is, will ya?" He should probably know the new developments beforehand instead of being shocked when he walks in the door to see Faith again.
When they reached downstairs, Angel turned around to her. "If you need anything, just ask." He sighed and said seriously, now that they were alone, "How are you feeling, Faith?"

Cordelia looked between Faith and Angel, staying silent while they talked. She still wasn't sure about Faith, seeing as she certainly had a VERY long way to go to come from where she had been, but Cordelia trusted Angel's decisions. Besides, she couldn't argue with the boss anyway... she didn't fancy becoming jobless. That would be worse than anything at the moment.
She raised her eyebrow when Angel glanced at her again and she smiled innocently while holding her hands up in surrender. "Hey, don't stress. It's all good. Just as long as you stay good, we're good." Cordelia flashed a bright smile to Faith, not realising what she said might have been a bit too much.
Cordelia dropped her smile as soon as the other two turned their backs and she made a face at the back of Faith's head. However, she didn't count of Angel turning around again. When he did, she froze and quickly brought that smile up again. "Sure thing... right on it."
Once they were truly out of sight, Cordelia heaved a loud sigh. She ran a hand through her hair and turned away from the stairs. "As long as I have no visions about Faith about to slice someone, this should work out..." She nodded like she was confirming her words.

Faith silently trailed behind Angel down to the lower level. She cringed slightly when she heard Angel say Wesley name, but shrugged it off. Wesley, another person she had to properly apologies too. She really wasn't looking forward to all the people she had to apologies too, but she knew it had to be done.
Once they had reached Angels living quarters, she dropped her duffel bag onto the couch. She looked around absently. “ Im ok, you know nothing to write home about” Faith said with her hands in her pockets. “Queen C doesn’t like me being here does she?” Faith probably should have expected that anyways. “I think I should.. you know apologies to her.......” Faith left her sentence hanging.
Faith sat down on the couch. “So what’s been happening here?....anything exciting?” Faith truly wanted to know what was happening while she was on lockdown. She missed the slayer life.

Angel nodded to Faith's theories about Cordy. She was right. Angel didn't need to tell her that. His expression turned into one of bemusement as he thought about what Cordy was thinking at the moment, and worse, what Wes would think when he comes in. He saw Faith move to the couch and Angel slowly followed.
"You know...apologies aren't exactly going to make things all better, Faith." He said, sitting on the couch next to her. "It's a start but...its just going to take time for you to gain people's trust again. And even then, it's still going to take time for you to trust yourself..." He still hadn't mastered that part of his life yet. He remembered the helplessness he felt after being returning to Sunnydale, re-insouled and emerging from Hell. How he felt that even if he had a soul, he couldn't trust himself with it. He couldn't trust himself with Buffy. It took him a long time to get over that...and still, with Cordy and the gang, he made sure to tell them to kill him in a heartbeat if Angelus were to ever return.
He sighed and laughed a bit at her question. "Exciting? Heh, yeah." He said sarcastically. "It's been pretty...um...peaceful" He looked at her, as if trying to convince himself by trying to convince her. "Which is good." He raised his eyebrows knowing he was sounding ridiculous. "Good...because...you know...it means things are quiet. Quiet is good." He smiled and shook his head. "We really need a good case soon,"

Cordelia was suddenly itching to creep to the top and the stairs and listen to Angel and Faith. Her curiousity about the Slayer was high and she was also curious how Angel was really feeling about all this.
She decided that it wouldn't hurt to listen in and they wouldn't notice anyway. She was about to move quietly towards the staircase when a sudden pain shot through her head. "Oh, no... no. Not now!" Cordelia'd only got that out before she staggered towards the wall and slid down it. Her hand was grasping her head, feeling like it was about to explode.
Images ran through her head and she groaned in pain as she tried to take it all in. Usually, Angel and Wesley helped her through this and she wished more than anything they were here now. It was always easier with them helping her during her visions.
When it was over, Cordelia pushed away from the wall and lied down, gasping in pain still. Her eyes shot open as she absorbed what she was. Spike. Coming to get her.
"Angel..." Cordelia gasped out, desperate to warn him Spike was coming, but it wouldn't be loud enough if Faith was still telling him about her experience. The pain was suddenly too much and she gave in to unconsciousness.

Spike crouched outside the window of "Angel Investigations" peeping into the office. His game face on. He laughed at regular intervals as he and Cordelia fought over the filing system. He always knows how to make something out of nothing, ever since Drusilla sired him. Angel would always find something to complain about, and it infuriated Spike.
He heard footsteps approach from behind him. He sniffed the air....."Slayer" he growled. He's killed enough slayers to know what they smell like. At first he thought that it was Buffy until he caught sight of Faith, who thankfully hadn't seen him yet.
He sprang up into the air and onto the roof, to avoid being caught by her. Once she was gone he jumped back down and landed gracefully on his feet. He continued peeping into the office. He patiently awaited for Cordelia to be alone so he could go through with his plan.
"Showtime" he cracked opened the window when Angel and Faith went downstairs, he was planning to make quiet kidnap, if they were possible. His wish was granted, When Cordelia recieved a vision and fell unconcious.
He sighed and walked up to her unconcious body. "This is too easy. Where's the bloody challenge?"
He figured that it would be a while before Angel realised that Cordelia was missing, so he flicked on his computer and wrote; "I have... uh whats her name... bugger it, the brunette one who has visions....Spike"
He picked Cordelia up and slipped out the door and into the night.
(OOC- Thanks to Buffy for the funny quote of what to write on the computer)

Faith listened carefully to Angel. She knew he was right. "I know that apologies wont mean jack to anyone right know, but I want to try and make things better, however long it takes" Faith shifted on the couch next to Angel.
Angel was the only one who saw through her bad girl bravado, and that usually was her first line of defence. So when Angel cut straight to the chase it unnerved her.
"I hope I didnt mess things up for you guys?" Faith said her gaze slightly unfocused. "With me being here...i know you guys have more important work" Faith then looked at Angel, then looked around. She felt something, like someone was watching her. Faith shook her head. "I think im going crazy but I feel like someone is here.......an undead someone." Faith looked up towards the stairs.

(OOC-again, i would assume you would follow me ) Angel nodded to her recognizing that it'll take more than words to make things right. To her next question Angel shook his head immediately. "We always could use the extra help. Don't worry..." He paused, turning his head towards the stairs, sensing a scent from somewhere. Something wasn't right. "You're not messing anything up..." He told Faith, voice aloft and focused on what he was sensing, expression tense. He saw that Faith recognized it too and when she did, Angel stood. "Yeah..." Once he stood, he knew the scent was now recognizable. He knew it all too well." Spike." he hissed through his teeth before bolting up the stairs, his mind racing and hoping he would get there in time. Once he got up stairs, Spike's scent was strong, but he knew that he was gone. Most importantly, Cordy was gone too. No, he thought as he quickly grabbed his black duster from the rack and threw it over his shoulders, putting it on. "Faith," he called out as he did so, grabbing whatever weapons he could. "We've got trouble. Spike's in town. Come on, I can track him." He sighed irritated, slipping a stake in his pocket, and said under his breath. "I really need to get a better security system..." He went to the door, opened it, making sure he still had a hold of his scent. "Lets go."

Spike pushed open the huge metal door to a warehouse. He peered inside, the headlights from his car lit the interior, it was empty apart from the dust that glittered the ground. He grined, "perfect".
He drove in, parked and turned off the engine. It was dark inside, the only light was shards of moon light peircing through the clear plastic parts in the roof.
He lifted open the boot, Cordelia was still unconcious. She was barely breathing, her heart slow, which was unfortunate for him because then Cordelia doesn't realise how much danger she is in, and Spike likes the smell of fear. He leant forward, and whispered in her ear; "Thanks for helping love." He took a sniff from her hair, it smelt like apples which made her so much more apetising.
He picked her up and placed her gently on the ground. He dragged a chair to the center of the warehouse and tied up Cordelia.
"Time to wake up pet" he slaped her on the cheek.

Faith watched as Angel looked around and then smelt the air followed by putting on his coat. “Spike?” Faith asked, getting up slowly. She recognised the smell from the first time she had a run in with him...of course she was in a different body then. She shook her head. “He took her” Faith said inaudibly to herself, as she realised that Cordy was gone too.
Faith hastily grabbed a stake that was lying on Angels table. She put it in her jacket pocket and hurried out after him. “What does he want anyways?” Faith asked, although she knew that vampires really didn't need a reason to be evil they just were, but in Spikes case, she realized it was way more personal.
“We taking wheels or we walking?” Faith said quickly as they stepped out into the night.

Cordelia struggled to open her eyes when she felt a slap on her cheek and when she did, everything was blurry. "Ow! What...?" She tried to ask but her head was pounding. She tried to bring her hand up to her eyes to rub them when she realised they weren't moving. It was a moment later she noticed she couldn't move anything. "What's going on?"
Slowly, things began to become clear and she almost shrieked at the sight of Spike in front of her. Then it came back to her... the memory of the vision. Cordelia looked up at his face with nervous eyes, not liking this situation at all.
"Oh, it's you. What do you want?" She hoped that sounding tough and careless would help, but a moment too late she remembered this guy was a vampire. "Stupid vampire senses..." She muttered to herself, then began to wriggle to try to free herself. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to be working. Cordelia sighed and looked back to Spike, waiting for an explanation.

"Wheels," Angel answered dryly as he quickly led Faith to his black GTX and jumped in. Putting his foot on the gas they were off. Angel recklessly skidded corners and sped carelessly, for his mind was racing. Spike definitely had something in store for him. But at the moment, Angel didn't care what it was Spike had planned for him, as long as Cordelia was safe. In the midst of Angel trying to track Spike down by his scent, he reflected on how immensely irritated he was with his long time vampire kin.
"Ya know...why can't Spike be like other vampires and terrorize dark alleys?" Angel asked through clenched teeth as he skidded another corner. He then realized that he did teach Spike almost everything he knows. "Okay well...maybe I helped in the cause of that...but I've known Spike for more that 100 years. I never taught him to be so...well, Spike." His brow lowered, his face was locked in concentration as he sped down the road, but then he realize he lost the scent. He pulled over quickly and violently and stopped. "Dammit!" Angel huffed, shoving the wheel then dropping his hands. "I lost the trail."
He turned around, trying to see if there was anything, any clues that they could follow, or if he could pick up the trail again.

"'At a girl" Spike said as Cordelia came too. "Welcome to the world of the concious" he joked. "I've kidnaped you is all" he responded when Cordelia asked what was going on.
"Oh it's me!" He exclaimed, "is that all your going to bloody well say? Oh it's you? Bloody women today all have to be so damn strong! What happened to the screaming and pleading for mercy. I tell you this no fun any more!" Spike rambled.
"What I want....Your exactly what I want, love" he continued, "something that is close to Angel, something that he loves. Because If I hurt you....I hurt him." Spike grinned.
"Now lets see what toys mummy left" He laughed, until he realised what he just said, "oh god! I've been around Drusilla too much." He walked into darkness, where he was out of Cordelia's sight and came back wheeling a trolley brandishing torture items.
"Take your pick" he waved his hands over the items, like a showgirl.

Faith swiftly jumped into the car beside Angel, not even putting her seat belt on. She then suddenly regretted her decision as Angel sped down the road, swerving in and out of traffic. Faith quickly grabbed the seatbelt and clicked it in place, holding the side door with one hand. Faith enjoyed a joyride as much as the next person, but she was happy having all her bones in one piece.
Faith listened to Angel rant about Spike, and shrugged. “Who knows why Spike does half of the things he does.....the guys weird” Faith really didn't know the vampire too well, but she did know her William the bloody history. “And you cant really blame yourself for this” Faith said casually. “You cant know everything and be everywhere.....don't worry we’ll find her” Faith said staring at the road.
Angel then suddenly stopped and Faith jolted in her seat. Faith frowned. “Lost the scent.......What do we do?..”. Faith looked around the street was deserted. “Should we take it from foot then...we could probably search better that way.” Faith said to Angel.

Cordelia looked around nervously, wishing so badly that Angel would just magically appear, save her and kick Spike's sorry butt. But to Cordelia's dismay, Angel wasn't in sight. Was he even looking for her? Did he even know she was gone or was he still yacking to Faith? "Wow that girl has brilliant timing." She muttered to herself again, not aware that she'd actually spoken out loud.
Her attention was brought back to the vampire once he'd started talking. She gazed at him with raised eyebrows. "Sorry to disappoint, but I don't do the damsel-in-distress noises anymore." Cordy flashed Spike a smile, still trying to will the ties that held her there to break. But the next thing Spike said caused her to freeze mid-struggle. "Huh? Angel loves me?" She thought for a moment and shook her head. "Nah... why not catch Buffy instead? I think that would have been better all round really."
Then he walked off and she frowned. "Hey! Don't leave me here or... oh." She didn't get to finish her plea before he came back. Cordy's eyes widened as she noticed what he had with him. "Actually, I take that back... feel free to leave me."
Cordelia eyed the items with a worried expression. Come on, Angel, hurry up, she thought over and over again, somehow hoping he'd actually hear her distress.
