"I'll help, you. Got nothing else better to do, considering my condition." He points at his leg. He counted the vampires, five or so left. Yep, Buffy and Angel can hold them off. "Should we do this in the back room?" He asked. I may not be fighting, but at least I'll be helping, he thought
The alley door opened, and more bump headed volutures piled in. "Oh, great! Mabey we should start the spell now" he urged.

Buffy listened as they discussed doing a spell. "That sounds like a plan... I'll go help Angel while you do it. Good luck." She gave them all a knowing smile, then dashed to help Angel with the vampires. When she noticed other vampires enter, she headed straight for them, punching, kicking and staking whenever she could. As she did, she kept an eye on both Angel and Faith, making sure to see that they were both still doing okay.

Willow was hesitant to leave Xander but she knew a spell was their only option, she let go of Xander's arm and followed Giles to the back room, "There's one I used before it made like a small sun it should be enough to either burn them alive or make them too scared to come any closer." She said.

After Angel threw one of the vampires in the air, making them hit and break a table upon impact, another one grabbed him in a headlock. The vampire hissed in his ear, "He told me you fought your own kind," "Yeah?" Angel said preparing himself. "Did he say I could do this?" He jabbed the vampire in the gut and flipped him over, making him slam on his back. Angel grabbed the broken wood from the destroyed table and jabbed him with it. "Because... that information might have been a bit more important." He turned around and ducked another attack but got distracted when he saw Buffy enter the fight. In addition he saw Faith and Xander hurt. No. They weren't supposed to be a part of this. He debated the fact that he should have told them, and maybe they would have been better prepared. But Angel remembered Desmond as this tall, but skinny weak thing a hundred or so years back. He wouldn't have thought that he gained followers. A split second of distraction gave his attacker an opening and he was knocked to the ground. The vamp loomed over him snickering. Meanwhile, unknown to Angel, when Giles and Willow ran off (OOC-I'm assuming Giles left since Willow said she followed him), three vampires grabbed Faith and dragged her to the bar. There was a sound of rustling chains. Angel was able to force himself up, using only his legs which caught the vampire by surprise. Angel elbowed him in the neck and he fell over, and Angel finished him off. That was when he saw Faith being dragged away. He unmorphed when he also realized that the vampires were easing off of him and going to Buffy. The was no way she could take all of them. It made sense...her fighting did send off slayer 'vibes'. "Buffy," he whispered and started running to her aid when some one grabbed him by the collar and threw him several feet, making him also crash on the destroyed table. One of the broken legs rammed right through his stomach. His eyes widened and jaw dropped in pain before he coughed up crimson. From this position, he watched the vampires gather around Buffy yet for the small moment, he was unable to move. "Angelus." He heard someone's voice boom. Angel forced himself to roll to his side just enough to attempt to grab the rod and pull it out but two other vampires grabbed him before he could do so and stood him up. Over people's heads he saw Desmond standing on the bar, with Faith tied up. Four vampires held her and she was chained. Angel was pushed forward in front of the bar as if he was being presented as a sacrifice, the wood still securely wedged in his flesh. "Angelus, Angelus." Desmond said, his dark eyes looking at Angel condescendingly. "You remember me don't you?""Yes, but something tells me you would refresh my memory if I'd said no," Angel said, his voice rough as he fought the pain. "Clever man." He began pacing the bar, hands behind his back, his long black coat flowed behind him, just above the ankles of his boots. "Then you foresaw the inevitable.""...have a feeling your version and my version of 'inevitable' isn't on the same page." Desmond chuckled. "It was of no consequence what you think....heh, it certainly wasn't a consequence to you what I thought."Angel's eyes softened in remorse as he looked up at him. "I'm sorry for what I did to you. But you don't have to--" "I don't have to? You made me what I am--no, Angelus, I must." Desmond spat. He walked up to Faith and cupped her by the chin, moving her face. Angel pushed forward but the vampires held him, and the sudden movement made the pain in his stomach amplify. "She's beautiful." He said, his long yellow finger nails almost penetrating the skin of her cheeks. He turned to Angel. "You know I've heard a lot about you over the years. How you roamed Europe for several years, mad, due to that soul you've obtained. I did my research, Angelus. Its how I tracked you down all the way to Sunnydale.""Then you'd know my name isn't Angelus," he said. Desmond grinned. "Oh I know. But what does it matter to me what form you take? Soul....souless. You're still the same man who took my family under the guise of a choice. And then made me into this...creature.""I'm not the same man," "Is that a plea, I hear?" Desmond said. "You're not the same man, is that suppose to mean something to me? Is that supposed to save this girl's life?" He shook his head."Look, do whatever you want to me. Don't hurt her." Angel said seriously. "It's me you want, not her. Not any of these people. Leave them out of this." "NO!" Desmond's bellowing voice boomed. "YOU don't get that CHOICE!" "Look, I can't take back what I did!" He shouted back at him. "I'm sorry for what I made you into." He swallowed the blood in his mouth. "What do you want from me?" "I want you to watch her die."(Okay sry that was ridiculously long lol. You guys are free to godmod Desmond. I have no particular plan for what he's going to do so...go wild )

((i like the long posts, angel!))
When Faith finally came to, she was chained up and surrounded by vampires.
Damn it, she thought, Why did i have to be awake for this?
She began struggling at the chains, to no avail. Faith just couldn't see anyway out of this. Even if, by chance, she did escape from her bindings there was no way she could take on 5 vampires at once.
She would simply have to play along and stall for time...
"I want you to watch her die."
So much for that...
((S.O.S lol))

Everything was happening at once, it all seemed like some action movie not real life. What are we going to do now, he thought. Faith's tied up, Buffy has a whole heap of vamps on her and Angel, Xander was right, Angel did have something to do with this.
Xander starting creeping backwards to the back room to help Giles and Willow with the spell, he turned around to bolt into the other room but Desmond was there guarding it. "Not so fast" he huffed, he pushed Xander and he fell to the floor. "I saw you with Angelus, so I'm assuming that you all are his friends, so your going to watch her die as well, and when she's dead you never going to forget who the reason is that she's dead." Desmond glided back to Angel, "Oh this is going to be fun" he smirked.

Giles barricades the door and gets some supplies out of his bag. "I hope these will do Willow...I wasn't too um...prepared." Giles hands the ingredients over to Willow. "So you said something about a burning spell?"
Giles hears bangs at the door, and suddenly some vampires barge in. Giles grabs an axe and starts bashing into them, but quickly gets knocked over. "Willow...perform the spell as quick as you can//I'll..hold them off."
Giles regains the advantage, slashing one of the vampire's heads off. He knew this wasn't going to be the last of them. He parries a shot from another vampire, then slices that one to dust also. "Thew...I am getting too old for this."
Giles becomes focused again when he sees more coming. He tries to hold the door back, but they are trying to break through.

Willow hurriedly organised the ingredients she needed, Giles had all of them luckily, although he also had a lot of things that would have been useful for other spells in this situation. She could hear the fighting around her but she blocked it out, nothing could break her concentration, otherwise she may fry the wrong Vampire!
"Giles!" She shouted quickly "Make sure Angel is outside or away from where I can get him! This sun ball won't differentiate between good and bad vampires!" She said setting the ingredients alight in a small pile on the floor, she'd clean any marks it left later, muttering the incantation the wild flames became a ball that she could almost feel in her hands, tlhough it was a good foot away from her. She moled it into a small circle and moved it towards a vampire coming at Giles through a hole it had made in the door. As soon as the ball brushed the undead flesh it began to sizzle and burn, causing the vampire to be dusted in less then a second.
"Giles I'll get rid of this lot then you need to make sure Angel gets away!" She said, "On the count of three move away from the door, I got you covered."

"Xander," Angel said and tried escaping the gasp the vamps had on him but was unsuccessful. One of them took the rod wedged in his body and yanked it downward and Angel let out a painful cry.
"So you do care about him as well," Desmond grabbed Xander and pulled him off the floor by his collar. "He's a human. You make friends with slayers and humans now. How pathetic."
"Let him go," Angel said through his teeth.
Desmond glared at Angel. "Let him go...." He repeated his eyes aloft. "Yes, I remember saying the same thing. 'I beg of you sir, please...'"
...please, let them go. Angel remembered his plea as well. The look of fear in his eyes. The screams when Darla killed his family. The satisfaction he felt in that moment of terror.
"So you see, Angelus, I will do you the same honor as you did for me. Who do you care about most? The slayer or this man here?" He glared into Xander's eyes menacingly.
"I'm not..." Angel started, his voice low and serious. "...going to pretend that I don't deserve what you're doing. I do. But I've been where you are. You're not doing this for justice. You're doing this for the thrill. For the fun of killing."
"Choose!" Desmond shouted impatiently, glaring at him.
"You don't care about repaying the blood of innocent people. I know you don't." Angel continued.
With an angry cry, Desmond flung Xander several feet. He then marched over to Angel, grabbed the rod and yanked it out of him and he doubled over in pain. Desmond used the wood to lift up Angel's head. "Choose," he said, harshly. "You will watch them die. But this time, I won't be as cruel as you were to me. This time, I will just kill you."
Now that he was relieved of the rod in his stomach, he felt himself starting to heal already. He gazed at Desmond brow lowered. "I chose..."
Desmond's expression changed a little in anticipation.
Angel then knocked both vampires holding him in the face with both of his fists and, quickly afterwards, used their shoulders to support his weight in order to lift himself up and kick Desmond with both legs. He slid into the bar.
Angel approached him. "I'm sorry, I'm just...really indecisive." He knew, despite his tough tone, that there were too many vampires to take on, and he didn't have his complete strength either.

"Let him go" Angel pleaded to Desmond. "Yes please let me go" Xander cried. Everything was pretty much a blur, he couldn't hear to well because of the adrenaline rushing violently and noisyly through his body.
Xander was on the ground, his collar being held by Desmond, then he saw a juke box coming straight at him, or him rather going straight at it. He got up slowly to examine the scene, the rod that once was in Angel's stomach was now on the floor, and the guards that we keeping Angel under control were also on the floor. Xander saw Angel kick Desmond into the bar, then he said something witty that he didn't catch.
A vampire snuck up behind Angel and tackled him to the ground. Desmond took this to his advantage and pulled out a young girl that was cowering behind the drums on stage. "Angelus, If you don't co-operate this is what will happen to each of your friends!" He pulled out a knife that was concealed in his back pocket and ran the knife into her stomach. She fell to the floor, dead.

Buffy kept fighting, half aware of everything else happening. She had tried to go help Angel more than once, especially when he got a rod through his stomach, but the vampires kept her surrounded, keeping her from him. She then noticed Faith was in more trouble and the voice from the head vampire floated to her. "I want you to watch her die."
Buffy fought harder, but it didn't seem to be working. Everytime she dusted one, another seemed to take it's place. Then she saw an innocent girl being killed, for no reason. That's what bugged Buffy the most. It was then when she saw an escape. Two vampires standing together had turned to watch the action between the head vampire and Angel, so Buffy pushed between them and ran towards where Angel and the rest were. However, she noticed that Willow and Giles were missing. They must be doing the spell, she realised. She prayed silently that they'd hurry.
Once she reached the bar, Buffy pulled out her stake and aimed it like she was about to throw it. "Hey, Mr Bumpy! Why don't we have a 'chat'?" Buffy kept throwing glances to Faith, still not sure what he'd want with her.

"Buffy, what are you doing, you can't chat with this thing!" Xander whispered, although there was no need to due to the whole super hearing asset.
Desmond kicked the girl he had just killed to the side, and made his way over to Buffy. "Well well, your the other slayer" he spat in disgust as he said that last word. Desmond leaned foward and took a wiff of Buffy. "Hang on a second, I can smell Angelus all over you. Your the slayer that makes Angelus weak in the knees. Well no wonder, your more my type. Now lets see what Angelus likes about you." He puts his hand on the back of her head and yanks harshly, he pulls her foward and kisses her passionatley.

Faith stood there helplessly, watching the ongoing chaos surround her. People were dying, people were kissing, and Angel seemed to have some sort of involvement. This was becoming the soap oprea from hell.
Boy was Faith going to have a hangover in the morning. Well, if she even survived that long. And to top it all off, her nose was itching like crazy!
Dam chains, if only she could get one hand free....

Xander spyed Faith trying to get out of her chains, he inched foward towards her, when he got over to her, he helped her out. The chains rattled to the ground. Desmond came out of the kiss with Buffy and turned around. He didn't seem to care, cause he now knew that Faith wasn't the slayer he wanted. Desmond turned his gaze back to Buffy, he grabbed the stake out of Buffy's hand and dropped it. "Tie her up!" he ordered his minions. They came to her side and forcefully grabbed her by the arms. "Leave her alone!" Xander cried he ran over to them but was chucked back by Desmond.
The minions dragged Buffy over to the chains and tied her up. He made his way over to Angel. "I know now Angelus why you like her so much. She has a vibe, one that I can't describe, one that appeals to all vampires, she like a magnet. Isn't she Angelus? I can't believe that she has lasted so long." "What do you mean?" Xander asked? "You would know what I would mean if you were a vampire" Desmond said, his eye brighten up as he got an idea. "You should know very soon" he said to Xander. Desmond walked over to Xander and pulled him up so they were level, he leaned into Xander's neck and bit into his neck. "Ahh!" he screamed in pain.
